BCBS 2016 Events in NYC

Really displeased with Goose Island right now. Still haven't received my refund from 2015, which I put my request in for in early January well before the deadline. I received a check with the wrong amount in February, and received a phone call immediately after not to cash the check because it was void. I was told I would get a new check shortly.

Called at the end of April and was told it was coming soon. They were really busy but assured me I would receive one.

Called in June and was told it was coming soon.

Called in September..well you get the idea. They have all my phone calls on record and repeated them back to me.

I just called them again 20 minutes ago to voice my displeasure and they said they were not sure they could help me because they had closed the whole refund process out. I could expect to hear back next week, maybe.

Are you fucking kidding me?

To make matters worse I just drain poured my last 2 BCBS bottles which were absolutely disgusting (infected..I said it, even if they wont).

Thats horrendous customer service. The screwed up over and over and then tell you the process is closed and you may be out of luck!! The whole refund process has been a clown show. You should repost your story in the main thread for refund so more people see it.

 

Staff at Whole Foods Gowanus are saying they should have BCBS Friday. Not sure if variants as well; that seems to be the big question on everyone's minds.

 

According to St. Gambrinus on Instagram in regards to BCBCS in Brooklyn:

"They made much less of everything this year and barely any coffee is being distributed in Brooklyn unfortunately."

 

Final RnH bcs details are out: '13-'16 bcs, '16 coffee, and '16 bwine. + Juliet and Hombre Secreto. I will be at RnH tonight.

 

Anyone want to speculate whether this will be a shit show or not?

 

Does it really matter? Between Dive Bar and RnH everyone will be able to get some.

Yeah, being 6 or 7 deep at bar jockeying for position versus sitting at bar with a flight is a big difference for someone old like me !

 

I hear ya. If I had to guess I'd expect it to be better than some of the high profile BT Wednesday events. But who knows. I will be there regardless. Bcs + Rangers game on tv is a win win for me.

 

Last February they had a BCBS event there, Regal, 2013,14 and 15. I was shocked it was so mellow, barely looked like anyone was there for event. But with release being front and center, Rare and BCBCS I suspect this event will be crowded.

Yes. It is wonderful. I'm already contemplating opening another, which with BA stout bombers, I rarely do so soon after the first. So, yeah.
