I know that, but since a lot is brewed there and prob disro there it would make sense they get a descent amount of bcbs.

 

As we approach that time, I just want to wish everyone and their mules good luck and I hope your families are still able to enjoy Thanksgiving in your absence. May your lines be short, your hauls bountiful and your beer free of infection.

 

Yeah I just didn't think they'd have gotten it over there and distributed that quickly.

 

Braved the Sheffield's tapping. There is actual room to move around. The lines are not too terrible. Of course, coffee kicked in less than ten minutes.

And to further muddy the waters, the Prop served here was an overly sweet, unbalanced disappointment. I won't go as far as some of the people on the FOBAB thread who declared it "Worst beer evvvaaaaaarrrrr", but it wasn't great.

But missing the binnys video with that bottle of VR? Dunno.

 

Yeah, but the part I forgot to add was that coffee was soooooooooo good. I mean grown men weeping good.

Had all but Prop so far. Would say they are good-not sure if I'd say great.

In town from MN - Skipping LP this year and going to head to downers grove Bonny's - any good suggestions what time to get there?? Thanks for any insight...

 

I was at nearby Glen Ellyn last year and not DG but I'd recommend 530 to get all but Rare if you want a guess. I got to GE at 6 last year and barely got Prop and Regal

 

My suggestion would be to not skip LP tbh

 

It depends on how much each store gets. All Binnys do not get the same amount. I've found whatever time I got there the year before, I add at least an hr earlier due to the fact of all the people I talk to behind me in line saying "next year we will be earlier". It never fails, people come earlier. The suburban Binnys I go to isn't even worth going for BCS because they barely get any. LP is the best to get everything you want.

 

After having Prop - it was a GD mess. Not worth waiting in line for. If I had the option to take another coffee over prop I would do it. GI needs to figure it out. What a disaster.

And this is coming from someone who drove from Detroit for the release. Just isn't worth the wait. I'll show up at 9am to Binnys- grab my allotment and move on.

In what context did you have Prop? Had it at Prop Day and it was very good

 

Had it tonight at Beer Bistro. Tasted like a Hershey's bar with slight heat. Nothing more nothing less. The wife did think it had a ton of heat whereas I did not. Both thought it was way too sweet. No maple and no barrel whatsoever.

 

A hersheys bar with heat actually sounds much better then chocolate covered asshole like last years
