I've now had 8 hoppy beers from Singlecut. All have been good. I'd rate 5 of them world class. Thrilled to have them in market

Any one have experience at Norm's on Black Friday? Curious if they sell out of BCBS pretty quickly or whether I can pick up bottles later in the day.

There's already an informal line in the parking lot. If you head straight there now you're 50/50 on getting 1btl of regular.

And that's why I'm glad I bought an extra case at Harris Teeter last year when they still had a ton a week after release. I'm so over standing in line all night for a single bottle, and I still have a bunch left.

Just hit Total Wine in the AM - they all get some but tend to sell out of coffee first just b/c it's more limited

I tried to call my two different TWs (Ballston and Landmark)this morning to make sure they had it, and neither one knew what I was talking about. Both "went to ask someone" and ended up hanging up on me.

Really hoping they actually have some tomorrow or I'm going to be rather unhappy.

Sadly this is not. I saw a few folks sleeping in cars on my way home from work tonight.

Any east of DC MD bcbs reports? Really just want a coffee or two. I know regs won't be an issue out this way.

Remember when a case was 24 bottles? Nostalgia.

Also remember when 2015 BCBS was an infected mess?

Not sure why this guy is so proud of having a sizeable stash from last year, haha

Thanks for this. They had quite a bit left about 15 min ago. Drove by CW on the way home and there were 8 or so in line.

One of each is enough for me this year.

If you're camping out overnight for one bottle of regular BCBS, you're doing it horribly wrong.

Yessir. I waited in line for 45 minutes to buy 3 regular, 2 barleywine, 1 coffee....then I was allowed to buy a rare and a regal.

This morning I slept until 9 and now I'm hanging out with my kids. I like this better.

So here's a question. Some places are selling rare this morning. Anyone show up last year and told they were sold out of rare? Does it bother you that you were lied to and almost a year later other folks are allowed to buy a beer that was in stock when you asked?

It wasn't in stock at the store. It was almost 100% not even at the wholesaler, but still at GI. So no. I don't buy $60+ beers either way, so not mad.

They are selling rare and rye all over New York also. I don't think it was the shops holding onto this inventory especially since all the places here are charging retail for an "aged" product. Pretty sure it's just AB/GI that held it back released more of it this year to fuel the hype
