2016 BCBS Chicago Release (Black Friday & Beyond)

Sweet just got here...so I'm in the max pain zone, if 1100 is 60 ahead of me and depending on if/how much extra.

 

It really still does amaze me that people line up for this shit. I drove past a line at my store this morning to go to the gym, stopped by on the way back at around 9:30, walked in, got what I wanted and left.

 

In Plainfield Binny's - 8 AM arrival = full allotment. Last yr we got there at 4 AM and didn't get Rare and Prop. My first inclination was to go to LP but changed to local after seeing the updates here. Thanks for everyone's info today!

 

I skipped local and took the opposite tack this year. I need your playbook

Mine too. Stopped at jewel. Didn't get any variants, but did get 6 regular.

Hit up Binnys grand after driving by and seeing only about 50 people in line.


After hearing that they only got 3 or so boxes of prop last year, I was kinda worried, but they had plenty.

 

I wish our Meijer would get some. I live in such a tiny area I don't think any stores short of a 45 minute drive get any. I'm still gonna look though .

Regular floats around for a while at a lot of the smaller stores, you should be just fine

Went to a new spot for me from solid Intel from last year and scored Prop and Coffee as well as a few regulars. Went to a secondary spot and found Prop '14 sitting there as well as '16 BW. Grabbed it and the guy behind me was grabbing the last one as I checked out. Slept in my own bed, waited in line for a little over two hours, basically had a full allotment and a vintage all by 10:00. Feeling very lucky.

 

Any idea why LP line is moving so slowly?

 

Berkots in mokena had some reg left an hour ago, but not as much as last year. Costco in orland had lots of reg but this year they won't sell to non members (last year they did).
