Thanks for the leads. I realized the brewery would be the best bet for getting more and was able to pick up couple more bottles of each. $16 a bottle at the brewery.

Had the Baptista @ Peak to Peak on Saturday. It's really good. I was afraid it would be another overblown Mexican stout, but it's more like a sweeter coffee stout with just the tiniest hint of cinnamon. Barrel notes are mild, which is exactly how I like it.

I still think CK's MCS is the best over the over-the-top spiced out variants and this is one of the better dialed back examples.

Are you able to disclose how many bottles are available? I plan on being there at open, but I'll do the whole stand-in-line thing beforehand if I need to

Exactly. I'm having a hard time rationalizing the frenzy of BCBS with all the good stuff we have.

BA Yeti is back around and 20% cheaper than years past.

12 cases of bombers, which is 72 allocations. We do have a ton of other beers available and last year's Black Friday was busy but not insane.

Hmm. I wonder what they are charging in the Taproom? 20% cheaper than last year would be $20, or $17 ish with the AHA discount.

I see that Dry Dock released their BBA Double Hazelnut Brown again.
This beer is a serious sleeper. IIRC it's a bit more malt-forward but it's a great ride on the flavor train.

Speaking of dry dock... has anyone tried the ba raspberry imperial stout yet? Picked one up over the weekend but was too busy enjoying the epic baptist variants to bother opening a bottle...

It's actually Hazelnut Double Coffee Porter, so it's different than previous years. Lots of coffee roasted locally at Coda Coffee (Guatemalan and Ethiopian Yirgacheffe). It's coffee first and hazelnut second, but you still know the hazelnut is there. I was happy with the way this turned out, and it should do well with a little age too.

I didn't catch coffee in the name either. This going to be on (or bottles on sale) at South?

Batch 3 of tweak is awfully tasty this year. Coffe is not as strong as last year, drinks like a boozy mocha. All chocolate up front with roasts coffee bringing up the rear.

Anyone try the new Crystal Springs Black Saddle? Port, wine & bourbon barrels. Sounds intriguing.

Drinking 2015 BA Yeti now. I hadn't realized it's been a year already, I meant to drink it months ago. I had the misfortune of having one of the infected 2010 bottles and it made me sad. This doesn't. Full Yeti richness with a strong barrel, a bit of sweetness to balance the normal relative hoppiness of Yeti.
I'm definitely grabbing '16s, especially with the price drop. I forget what '15 was, I bought it at the Barrel Room. I want to say $23? Not terrible for a 750ml I suppose.

I did, thought it was tasty but maybe a little thin for an imperial stout. Lots of wine barrel to me.

Stranahan's barrels are the best. I bought a bunch at $25 a bottle, so with the price drop I'm all in this year.

Last years are still sitting on the shelves near me for $19 each. It's nice being able to pick em up at my leisure.:sunglasses:

Anyone at S26 or Odd 13 for their releases? Planning on being at S26 in a little bit and maybe Odd 13 later. Wondering how the crowds are
