Does that affect what will be available on-site going forward?

No, we'll still be putting 3 cases (18 bottles of 750ml) on our menu every weekend for onsite drinking.

I just wanted to share my experience. I got there on Saturday around 2:45pm, had to wait for like a full 3 minutes for my Spon bottles. Bought some other "regular" JK beers glassware and swag, and had my beers in the trunk of my car a little before 3:00pm.

I then stayed for a couple of hours and had an amazing time with the wife and kids. The longest line was probably for pizza at Stanley's, but I can't complain one bit. I forgot about those free pig tacos and did not even look for them. Great beer and great ambiance, even on the day of a very awaited release. Props for the JK crew for an amazing beer and a great place to hang out.

I really liked Blend 4, then 3 and then 1. I did not try Blend 2. But all the beer is amazing.

Do you have a plan yet for the logistics of this?

Will all 18 be available Fri, or will some be held back for Sat and Sun? Will all bottles for that day be available at opening, or randomly released throughout the day?

Very much like and appreciate the effort to keep some available for on site consumption during the year.

    Cheers!

I picked up bottles around 3 p.m. today. They were out of 750s of blend 1, but had everything else. Not sure about quantities, though.

That was really only Friday and if you went at opening the other days. I was there Saturday starting at around 4pm last week and I had a wait time of 0 seconds for bottles. And a wait time of about 30 seconds for pours at the outdoor station. Even the indoor line wasn't very long for a Saturday or for a big release day.

Anyone out at Jester King know how many bottles are left of SPON?

Answer I just got was, "plenty."

They have only run out of the 750mL of Blend 1. All over 7 options are available.

Also, if anyone is out here and wants to hang. I'm at a table facing the bottles to go, close to the outdoor restrooms. (The bearded guy with 4 glasses in front of him and a stupid grin on his face.)

I'd be beyond ecstatic if Spon lasted til next weekend. Been out of town for work these past two and didn't get a chance to get up there.

Thankfully my brother snagged a bottle for me opening weekend, but I'd love to sit and compare the all the different blends on tap.
