What is this "phone" that you speak of?

This is the first time I've ever tried Barley Wine and I thoroughly enjoyed it. At the GI BF tasting, the guy said it was hotter than previous years but I really didn't get that from it.

I only went to binny's (went to 3 of them) and got mostly 13.8. I was able to get 8 regs total and 6 of them were 13.8.

Worked till 2:30 (markets) and was able to get 8 regular (14.5%), 2 coffee and 2 BW. Boggles my mind how some people waited in line all night. If you live in Chicago, BC is everywhere.

There's a ton of BW at my secret place, but I'm not going to tell you the name of my secret place because it's a secret and no one else knows that my secret place exists.

A liqueur store about 30 minutes south of Chicago has regular BCBS for $25 a bottle and 2 varients for $25 and $50 a bottle each. Is this a fair price point? I thought everyone was reporting like 10-12ish.

Cracked a bottle of coffee last night. For the record, it's fantastic.

If anyone can slyly pass along any places that have coffee or Barleywine, my DMs are open and your secret locations shall remain a secret and will not be leaked to the general public.

Total rip off. I paid 9.99 for regular and 11.99 or 12.99 for variants (minus prop). That's the typical price. I'd promptly ask them to suck my balls as they are old and dusty like the beer in their store, and strut on out.

I walked out when they told me how much it was. I was denied service at the same liqueur store a while back because they wouldnt accept a military ID as per the owners policy (I was 24) and ever since then i try to avoid them. Was hoping to try coffee this year but I'm not dropping 50 dollars on a bottle, because thats what theyre charging. The search continues.

I defer to my previous advice. They should get no one's business. I'm back home downstate so can't help on variants, but any Jewel near you is worth stopping at for regular. Some are bound to still have it. I'm sure someone on here is willing to share their double secret probation location for a variant score today to an American service member...

I havent actually been active duty in 2 years so I cant really pull that card anymore lol.. The issue is Im doing this by proxy because I live in Korea and will be here until a little before Christmas when I will be visiting my family for the holidays and picking up my haul. Ill find it or I wont, not the end of the world. But Im not gonna pay 50 dollars for it.

Any coffees still sitting wherever you found them? I was able to find regular down in central IL, but no coffee and am back in the city today. Debating on going hunting or not.

Potash Markets just north of Chicago Avenue had some but it was dwindling. Wouldn't doubt it if they only had regular at this point. The Jewel over there should have some as well.

So let's not call it "rare" if that is the case

Skokie was surprisingly awesome. I drove by at 8:40am and only stopped because the line was ridiculously short - probably only 2/3 of the lot was filled with cars.

I was able to get a full allotment, including Rare, and could've realistically hopped right back in line and gone through again. I was out the door by 9:10am.

No idea why the line was so short. I swung by at the same time last year, waited an hour to get in and out, and was only able to get Regular and BW.

Ugh - 10 mins from home. I *almost* drove by at 9 to check the line, but realized that the doors would be open, most/all of the line inside, and couldn't really tell without stopping and going in (and last year, I had to park blocks away).

    Thanks for the report!
