What's on the shelves CT (2018)?

Anybody know when Lagunitas High West-ified is expected to drop?

 

This week I believe. Sales rep mentioned that he got an email about it, but it wasn't in the system yet. We shall see tomorrow what the HDI truck brings.

Also dropping this week: Bruery-So Happens It's Tuesday, 9 Ladies Dancing, Share This: Coffee, and one of the sours, can't remember which one. There's a plentiful Singlecut drop too, and a limited amount of BA 12 Dogs 1.5Ls.

 

Have you heard anyone else mention infected So happens it's Tuesday from last year? Just saw a post on the CT beer drinkers group with someone claiming theirs was. Leery about dropping $20+ on a potentially infected bottle :/

 

I actually had 1 a month ago that i got in a trade (thankfully it was a throw in) and it was absolutely awful. had a very sour cherry taste to it. instant drain pour

 

Not sure what you are trading but that is a serious "extra" (assuming it wasn't infected/compromised)!

 

It was a large shipment, he ended up taking a lot of time getting back so i think he felt bad. that's why i wasn't so heart broken about it

 

Can you or anyone else confirm when High West-ified drops?

 

Harvest (Farmington Ave) had it in West Hartford today. They were doing one bottle per customer because I think they just got one case in.

 

Picked up a sixer at crazy bruces in bristol last night. There was one other sixer and another broken down for singles left. Doesn't seem like a lot made it to CT and it'll go pretty fast once people realize how good it is :/

 

HDI only gave us ONE case of High West-ified, boooo! We're selling them as singles at a 3pp limit so as many people as possible can enjoy it. It's not our usual strategy, and it's not ideal, but at about $2.50ea, people who don't generally buy $14+ 6pks can enjoy some BA stout goodness too.

I guess I can grab a So Happens It's Tuesday and see hows its tasting. Such a hardship.

For what it's worth, and it probably goes without saying, this is DEFINITELY a brand-new batch. I can give bottling dates later if anyone's curious.

 

Snagged 2 sixers of High Westified at Tony's Haddam. Said they only got a case. $12.99

 

Westi 11.99 liquor depot. Probably all gone now. Swore I saw bcbs for that amount elsewhere last week.

 

Didn't wanna start a new thread but did anyone go to the release of back easts unicorn farm (batch 2) today? Wasn't able to make it but a buddy of mine went and said it was very good and I saw on Untappd that it sold out in 3hrs. That's awesome news for tony and the guys over at back easts. Hopefully this beer gets canned cause I thought this was by far their best beer to date

 

Didn't go but I got a six pack of the recent Intergalactic IPA and thought it was amazing. Totally underrated and would highly recommend anyone grab a sixer should they see it soon. Just wanna endorse this post about Back East doing great things lately.

 

They only got a case and you grabbed half of it? Way to go!

 

I asked if there was a limit and he said "I'll sell you what you want". They don't bother with all the limits and breaking up packs there...just sell to who wants it. I usually would keep my beer karma in good standing and take one, but I didn't feel like looking in other stores yesterday.

 

Its cool if you leave it and its cool if you don't. its just beer. its not like taking all the food with a bunch of very hungry people around...
