What to do... Leave work and get there at 5pm.. Wait in line for at least 90 minutes in the pouring rain and possible thunderstorm(s).. or just go home and crack a snowglobe *cough cough* I mean milkshake.

I agree. They should call this one "Ctrl+C Ctrl+P" instead

May be naive about this specific release, but maybe you could get there like 545 and wait like 45 minutes or less :grinning:. Idk, just tends to be my luck when i go..

This release is going to be a whole different monster in my opinion, you have 3 collaboration beers and some really nasty weather at the time when most people will be there. Could really scare people away, or just a big collection of people dumping chairs at noon and not showing up until 4:59.....

This. The last milkshake release was crappy weather too and that didn't stop a single person. We'll have to wait for the allottments, that will tell the story of if you can show up later and still score beer.

Do people actually care about collaboration beers? All the ones I've had just tasted like a beer from the host brewery, I haven't every really noticed anything special about them. I have no doubt these will be 3 great beers, but I bet they'll probably all taste like Tired Hands beers.

    The names/beers are different:

first one was Juicy Dank Beautiful (Copy & Paste) - 5.8%

this one is Intensely Juicy Dank Beautiful (Copy & Paste) - 5.9%

The first one had 'Intensely' in the name as well.

Oh, there won't be anything different or better about the taste. I want to try that DIPA though.

It is incredible easy to understand why TH keeps the current can-sale process in place and doesn't take any meaningful steps to address the issues so many people complain about.

    1) TH wants people inside spending money for as long as they can
    2) TH can not reasonably decipher between who is inside and who dropped a chair and bounced.
    3) TH wants to sell as many cans in as little time as possible (goal: sell out before 7pm)
    4) TH does not want to move beer behind the bar and tie up their server's time selling cans when they could be selling draft beer.. making TH more money and themselves more tips.

if they truly gave a damn, or really cared about catering to their customers and making sure their beer ended up in the hands of people intending to drink it more than trade it, they could easily solve the issue.

Can the day before, release in smaller allotments when you open at noon the following day and do not allow chairs in place before then. Oh but I forgot, then it wouldn't be "hyper fresh"

An even bigger problem is that its become much easier/common for someone to drop 2 or 3 chairs because "My buddies are grabbing a table to eat, while I drop our chairs" aka: one guy gets there at 2pm and drops chairs for his crew who roll up around 4pm. I'm sure all of you have seen people dropping more than 1 chair and immediately leaving it.

Also, here's my prediction for today.

    HA - $20 - 8cans/pp
    Monkish - $18 - 8cans/pp
    HF - $18 - 12cans/pp

Won't be surprised if both the monkish and HA cans are more expensive too

I can't say I've ever seen the Ferm crowded enough where a person could not get a beer due to lack of servers/bartenders. Grabbing a six pack is less work than filling growlers.

Not judging but just curious if its always the same groups of people that line up super early every single week and never misses out on a release. Im more curious what their total monthly beer budget must be like for those hardcore fans. Again not trying to judge, more power to them.
