Hey, I'm all for Treehouse limits if it means people who have normal 9-5 schedule can get some, lol.

From all I've seen, Monkish has been taking feedback into account and refining their releases to make them as fair as possible. They're only capable of making a small number of beers with each batch, and as long as demand greatly outpaces supply, the sort of fervor we've seen is unavoidable.

I'm sure the answer's obvious but why not make consecutive batches of the same beer?

Some beers are mostly the same, no? Just different names. That would allow them to capitalize on the tickers which would be a smart business move.

"Hey bro you want to trade for Spock it again?" or "Hey bro there's a BRAND NEW beer that has the exact same recipe as spock it! this is going to cost you some serious east coast cannage"

It seems the average is around 6 cans per beer they release.

Pretty sure cold storage isn't an issue since Monkish held onto Sip and Fog a couple days prior to release. Instead of allowing a half a case per person, you'd think they would want their beer to get into more hands by trying to make it last into the night.

Doesn't seem to be a problem for Treehouse putting out Julius regularly...

It is **no longer as big of an issue**... to hold onto Sip and Foggier, they had to take everything out of cold storage, put the cans in, then they prioritized what was going to go back into cold storage and what was going to sit outside of cold storage during that time.

By that logic, maybe the 1 can pp option is the best way to go so that more people can taste, amirite?

Monkish can't make everyone happy... the allotments are either too big or too small. People that can't make it midweek demand weekend releases. Locals want midweek releases to avoid having to wait with all of SoCal for some beer. They do far more than most breweries to mitigate people getting multiple allotments but its not enough.

I don't really know how to answer this question... are you asking if some of their IPAs are similar to other IPAs they make? I'm sure there are...

...but I also had 4 different hoppy options last night and each was notably different.

This is exactly what my tongue-in-cheek question was getting at. I'm pretty sure that if it was a rotating schedule of 2-3 different beers, lines would calm down. The beers are really damn good so I'm sure they'd still sell out.

Doesn't Treehouse put out the same IPA regularly... and don't those still generate lines?

Honestly, I think the issue is the demand in general and I don't think limiting the "brands" would really impact it all that much.

Gotta get those freshies no matter what is on the can.
