Uh but if Imperial Cabinet comes back on a every other year basis I would definitely not complain...

Notice I said I even find myself doing it. I also agree that in today's market with a brewery on damn near every corner popping out great beers, you've got to do something to stay relevant. Their desire to grow I think has gotten in the way of what's important, and that is to give people what they really want, not just what you think they want.

I 100% agree with you that my opinion on the Bruery has changed quite a bit over the years, especially after Tyler left. I still think they do quality work but clearly the last couple of years have been a struggle for them and they've had a lot of growing pains. I'm hopefully that they can learn from all of this. If they would just take a step back and realize sometimes simple is better (K.I.S.S. - Keep It Simple Stupid), then I think they could really give people some amazing beers.

I think what I am burnt out on is their 20% overpriced, super sweet thin stouts...I passed on all my grey monday this time just because its too much (sweetness). It was a fun idea and fun to try for a few years, but now I just wish they were more balanced and 13-15%.

I've definitely scaled back my Bruery consumption and purchasing due to the 750 bottle size. If they also had a 375 option, I'd probably buy more again because I could open them and enjoy more frequently solo than always having to rely on opening with a group or drinking over the course of days like rrryanc mentioned.

To be fair, that's a personal preference. I actually really enjoy those kinds of beers, but I'm also the kind of person that likes to drink port wine.

Agreed, and I like port wine too on occasion. But I feel like when I sit down to have a bruery beer I need 8 people to share them with so I can drink more than one or two different beers in a night. But definitely a preference thing, there was a time I wanted the highest abv beer I can find and obviously people buy the crap out of them anyway so definitely a preference

I'd be happy with 500ml bottles. I know they have asked in a couple society surveys about smaller bottle sizes but nothing ever really came of it. They also just bought that new bottling line so who knows if that thing can even do multiple bottle sizes.

You can get a set up like this for less than $100 and repressurize what you don't drink in a plastic bottle to save for another time. I use it and open bottles by myself all the time and just save what I don't drink. Since it's pressurized, it'll last as long as I want it to

It's better than nothing, and a little oxidation on the big beers isn't the worst thing, but simply pressurizing an opened bottle won't actually prevent oxidation over a longer period of time.

You could get one of those co2 pressurized growlers. If it has a valve to burp it a few times like a corny you should be able to keep it awhile and pour what you want. Similar to the above carbacap but if you could purge it even better.

I've never had and oxidation problem. I generally don't let it sit in the bottles more than a couple months before I drink it. Basically just squeeze the bottle till the liquid gets to the top. Cap it and hit it with CO2. It's also good for re-carbonating beer or any other liquid that's flat.

I like to put BCBS and a vanilla bean in the bottle for a few weeks. Tastes as good as any vanilla BCBS I've had. Also great after French pressing stouts.

Yeah, but there's also a history of winners from previous blending tournaments not exactly coming out as intended and amping up certain flavors too much.

I'm on the other side of most because I love the 750mL format. And I don't share virtually any Bruery beer I open, so it's not like I enjoy the sharing aspect. 750mL for me is just perfect on an early work night, or if I'm off or working late, 2-3 bottles is fine, as long as they stay below 11%. A single BT or CR is a great nightcap, but I do understand people who want less. I'm just not one of them.

100% agreed! We've been burned before but we've also gotten some gems (looking at you M9).

I guess at the end of the day, I've got faith in Jeremy and his team to pull it off. If it tasted like shit then I'm sure they wouldn't release it (SiTR w/pineapple and coconut).

We'll also find out tomorrow if they pulled it off. All of this is nullified if they nailed it.

That's why I've always wanted options. I know it may be a logistics nightmare, but if we could get a couple 750ml of BT and a 4 pack of 12 oz, I would be the happiest hoarder on the planet.

I like the 375mL idea based solely on the look of the bottle, and I guess it would be cool to drink 6-8 sours a night versus 3, but I always feel 375mL of something I like isn't enough. I want the whole 750. Hell, I'd like to see 1.5L options, that would be perfect for Sour in the Rye.

I'm a huge fan of the 750 ml size for the big stouts because I like putting a champagne stopper in them and drinking them for 3 days. But, I can see the use of 500 ml bottles for certain releases. I would prefer a 500 ml bottle of a sour, since I can't handle sours like I used to.

I guess it's all up to personal preference.

I bought the bottle stopper from the bruery awhile back. It works perfectly, holds for the next day easily.

Though if there were some bottles that were smaller than 750ml, that would be awesome. I wouldn't complain

I feel like we are in minority. Maybe that's why Bruery won't change/adapt/evolve? Maybe from a marketing standpoint they're just doing as good, as they want. No idea. One thing I can tell you, these beauties are coming with me tomorrow:
