Rolling Meadows Meijer had a case left as of 1:45 p.m. That's what I could see, at least.

 

Barleywine and Regular on tap at WF on Green Bay Rd. In Evanston - and it's $4 drafts night.

 

Damn that is one solid deal while I paid $12 at DePaul WF for a 12 oz pour of BCBCS.

 

Can someone that made it to Orland Park WF update here if they had variants or only regular?

Yes, WF in NWI had 5 cases 2 days ago... when release happened today they only had 18 bottles... employees pillaged the stock they had.

Yeah, I'm done too. If any other fall into my lap while at a bar or accidentally run into at a store, maybe grab some more. But I'm done with the BC chase for the season. I'm very happy with everything I was able to score and look forward to drinking the fruits of my labor over the next year or so.

I don't shop there anymore and I work a half mile away, total shit store everyone is stoned and stupid who work there, slow and lazy. turrible

 

on the plus side, many bars hold on to their kegs for a bit so we'll be seeng BCS tappings every couple weeks for another month or two. It'll help get through the garbage weather coming up.

 

For the record it's possible WF split their supply up between stores. I say this because I made a comment about employees buying prop and the cashier overheard me and said they weren't allowed to.

 

No offense, but this is not likely. Beer ships from distributors, I doubt they would open a case and divvy it up. Might have held bottles for 'special peeps'.

 

Emersons Ale House in mount prospect appears to have regular and Barleywine on tap right now per their website just FYI.

 

Just snagged 10 regular at meijer in round lake.

 

I was there last night, they have Reg and BW on tap. Also Founders Backwoods Bastard and Arrogant Bastard aged in a scotch barrel that tasted like dirt.

 

If anyone has any tips on any northern burb places tapping coffee in the next few days would you mind posting here or DMing me? Have never tried it on tap before and would love a chance! Thanks!

 

I just walked out of a small grocery store that had about a case each of BW, coffee, & reg. Charging 14.99 for BW, but 39.99 each for coffee and reg (wtf?). Thats not a bad price for BW, but I passed just on principle. Won't be going back there for groceries either, as I just don't feel like supporting places that do this.
