It was, but it never popped up as a "New / Back in Stock" item - only noticed it in their e-mail blast that went out and followed the link directly. 24 bottles lasted two days.

^^^What he said. On the same "new / back in stock" list was: Rare, BCBS, BCBW, darkstar november and high westified. I bet they maybe had a couple Rare and DN if any at all to be honest. My buddy clicked on the rare right after he got the email and it was gone.

 

I clicked on everything except the bourbon county stuff the moment it hit my inbox and everything had no inventory. Checked on and off for about 10 minutes before I decided to call it quits. It looks like the email gets sent out before their inventory system gets populated because they all eventually went live some time after I stopped checking.

 

They all went live at different times, similar to how recent Bruery/Modern Times sales have went where items became available gradually. 2015 Rare surprisingly hung around for a few minutes but I couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger. Only ones I never even saw in stock were Darkstar and High Westified

 

It's odd. Why send out an email blast for items that aren't in stock? This happened once before so I hope it doesnt become an ongoing thing.

 

My buddy did say that MOAS showed it wasn't available at first when he looked out it and didn't realize it became available until I told him

 

I emailed the beer guy asking why they post stuff that is sold out. He said it wasn't sold out, to keep checking. He said it was an ongoing issue they were trying to fix. Rare went in 9 seconds he said. I got a bottle of Mother of All Storms... and then I was surprised it lasted longer than it did.

 

Damn, I would have really like a MOAS too. I checked 10 minutes after email and it said out of stock.

After I realized what was happening and saw the items getting loaded into the store, it made a bit more sense to me. If you load them first and they sell out before you even send the e-mail out, then it's all kind of pointless. The e-mail essentially served as a "start your engines" sort of announcement, even if it wasn't explicitly communicated.

 

True story checked for MOAS around 5pm EST and it was out of inventory. Then circled back around a few hours later and it was there. It's possible that they just got more or upped the inventory though.

 

What is MOAS?

 

Definitely not BCBS, so talk about on another thread pls.
