    Hey All,

Just stopped at Decicco's Ardsley today and they have a ton of Drie Fonteinen Oude Gueuze 750ml and 375ml. I just got 2 small (375ml) and the beer guy told me they had a bunch in the back.

Just giving everyone a heads up since I've noticed that people have been looking for these and haven't been able to find them in and around the NYC area.

I've been meaning to post about this, The 3F Oude Gueze have both indeed hit the circulation of the NY(C) area through Union as of last week. Expect to see it in your favorite shops!
I tried to order a few cases of the 375ml for the shop I'm at and they were sold out. :slight_frown:

The beer guy at Decicco's saw me grabbing a couple bottles and responded with, "How many do you want? I have as much as you want basically". So it seems this'll last at least a week or 2 .

$9.99 on the small (11-3-11 bottling date). Not sure on the large but I'm sure its the same date.

The 750ml's are actually relatively fresher– 26 Jan 2012.

Thanks for the correction. I didn't see the 750ml but was told they had them in the back.

Oh hm, I wonder why Joe didn't replenish them on the shelves. They used to be readily out on there on the top racks.

I think Eagle in Brooklyn got some in yesterday as well...

Yeah, they did. as well as Golden Blend. Unfortunately it's probably double what other stores sell it for

Ardsley has been smart with their lambics/gueuze lately as they'll only stock the shelves with a small number of bottles. They replenish them with the stock from the back pretty frequently as they're obviously very much in demand

Nope, it's actually cheaper than what "most" stores are selling it for. $25 is pretty reasonable, if you ask me. It's an incredible gueuze.

Wow - I'll definitely pick it up for that price.

Can you let me know if there are any remaining if you do pick one up? It totally slipped my mind when I was there a few days ago and it was kinda congested and busy there due to the SN takeover.

I bought mine during the SN takeover....they keep the bottles behind the counter so you'll need to ask someone to get it for you. Not sure what the stock is looking like on the Golden Blend specifically, but I was told that they received considerably less than the regular 3F gueuze. I'm going by this evening so I'll report back if there is any left.

It's also up at the Brewster store (though, they stock it openly on the end cap).

Oh wow, I didn't know they received lesser supply but I'm glad that they did at least get some bottles. And thanks man, I'd appreciate it if you do.

I'm heading there after work tomorrow, so hopefully Knifestyles has some good news. But as long as they have some left i'll let you know what it looks like tomorrow.

I totally get what you're saying and I agree 100%. But you realize you just said that $25 for a 12oz. beer is very reasonable right?

spending $25 for 12oz of beer is insane Jim. Now, $25 for 12.7oz of beer? That sounds just right :grinning:
