Found Java Cask, High Westi, Singlecut and founders Azzaca at Kays in East Hartford if anybody is searching in Hartford County

 

Anyone have any info/timetable as to when we are gonna start seeing jons beers start to roll out over at top shelf? Been quiet for a while

 

Sounds like they are re-branding. I've hard sometime shortly after the new year.

 

They posted on Facebook in November that they'll be closed for a bit for the transition. I would assume as soon as they reopen it'll be Jon's beers.

What prices are people seeing on java cask? Paid $16 last year but everyone that has it on beermenus is asking 18-22 o,o

 

Cost is $14.83/btl, so nobody in their right mind is going to sell a limited release item, or anything for that matter, at less than 10% markup. Suggested retail is $21.99.

Is this the regular or the rye? I know they announced the rye at that suggested retail, but a 46% price increase in just one year for the regular would be kind of crazy.

Forgot the rye was brewery only. Still, that's a pretty big price hike from suggested retail of $15 last year :|

 

Yellow Belly is at Putnam Plaza, but I'm gonna pass on this one due to the price. I'm curious, but I don't need to try every friggin adjunct stout that comes out.

 

Harvest next to Pepe's in WeHa had a dozen or so. As a side note that place is absolutely amazing. Best single bottle/can selection I've ever seen. Staff is amazing as well. They've won my business going forward.

Went to check out with a bottle of Java Cask and blithering idiot at lunch today (was looking for Yellow Belly) and unbeknownst to me one of the 2 guys in the store was either a Victory Rep. or the store's distributor and he thanked me for my support of Victory by picking up the tab on the Java Cask. Amazing gesture and great customer service. Like I said before, they've got my loyalty now

 

Yellow Belly is definitely super limited, so scoop it up if you see any.

Beer buyers in CT get an email from the distributor (Northeast) when 12% Imports items, as well as breweries that piggyback that distribution, come in. There's a main list of items that are open to all accounts on a first-come basis, but there are other allocated items that are only given to top accounts. Yellow Belly was NOT on that general list.

Been striking out at several stores in the West Haven, Milford area.
