Sounds like the kind of guy who will pour 4 16 oz cans into a wide mouth growler and drink directly out of it.

 

Oh, im sure i could drink 40's of bourbon county. Just sayin with availability and cost of some of these beers id prefer having 6 8oz cans over 3 16oz bottles.

 

WTF is a boss pour? Is that that shit where the entire glass is filled and there's no room for head? No, I hate that shit. I just meant that I poured a 12 oz. bottle into my tulip glass yesterday and it just didn't look like enough liquid. With a 16 it gets to the top (with some head), I'll drink a little and top it off.

I see that shit on Instagram all the time, and it drives me crazy. I know it's a little anal, but it just looks like a bad pour to me, if you've got the damn liquid up to the very rim.

Hmm, my brother and I were really wanting to grab some Cafe Deth bombers, but will also have a tough time making it up on Thursday night since he's only visiting for 2 nights and we have a lot planned. Anybody think we'd have luck grabbing Cafe Deth if we showed up at the taproom right when they open at 2pm on Friday?

 

Ended up getting tickets to see Seinfeld on Thursday so will have to pass on the event. Is Cafe getting distributed at all?

I think you guys are corrupting boss pour and giving it an undeserved negative label. If you are pouring your own, I can see that, but if you walked into GI and order a 5oz BCBS and GI served it to you in a 12oz snifter and filled it with 3-4 more ounces, getting a boss pour would not be able to be classified as douchey.

 

A boss pour is for douchebags. I'll lose 3 oz of BCBS if it means I don't get a douchepour.

 

Hey, it's not my term, as you can see from the thread; I'm just going with what I was given. I agree that 8-9 oz in place of 5 would be great...With that being said, it also wouldn't be the thing that I was describing as douchey (pouring literally to the top, so that you're basically relying on surface tension to hold the beer in). Gimme some foam (resisted the urge to replace "foam" with "head")!
