My heart's been broken one too many times. It's double pad locked and frozen shut...until I get dinner and beer, like I said.

 

Sadly the only IPA at T-Bones is Goose Island.

 

31 beer countdown to 2017, December 5th Sierra Nevada Bigfoot Barleywine (2013). Bitterness is creeping up on this one, like these best about 1 year old. Cheers!

The beauty (and the beast) of lagers. I tried to savor every sip of that Kiwi, but still was way too smooth to stop, hence consumption complete. And now it's on to this mess. No bottled date, but can't imagine it being too fresh. Neighbor freebie, so can't complain much. Cheers!

Good afternoon, all! Now, I don't know too much about the climate of the British Isles. However, it seems to me that if the winters in Tadcaster were anything at all like the winters in the upper Midwest, they would have come up with a different name for this beer. Whatever you call it, though, Winter Welcome is insanely delicious.

Fresh from Saturday's release. I din't even realize my total wait time at Other Half was 4 hrs and 45 minutes (arrived at 6:30 AM; beer in hand at 11:15 AM). So much fun talking beer w/everyone on line..... Cheers

Had this last night after I got home from work. Was really REALLY good, coupled with the snow coming down outside and the entire NFC East Losing except the Cowboys. Pardon the crappy picture, was trying to capture the snow outside too.



Tonight I've started with this, and will say I like it FAR more than the regular non barrel aged version.
