Oracle and Hopslam in FL

Bells is in FL. Yes.

 

riverside market in fort lauderdale had hopslam last time it was released.

 

hopslam won't be here til feb. don't blink or you'll miss it

 

yeas it's Oracle is out now, but only reason i know this is because i got a few bottles in a trade.

 

A few legs of Black Note made it to South FL. Hopslam makes it down here in spades - still on some shelves sadly.

 

Oracle doesn't make it this far south. It makes it to NC and GA, but not here. I suspect that with the completion of Bells' expansion, we might get a stab at it next year.

 

Ive seen 2 kegs of Black Note this year in NC (Greensboro and Durham), but havent heard a ton about any other kegs anywhere else in the state. Im assuming if Mellow Mushroom in Greensboro got a keg, somewhere in Charlotte got one.

 

Last year I got a sixer of Oracle in Sarasota (TW had 1 case) and Mr Beerys got a keg of Black Note earlier this year (and it was delicious). However, I have not seen Oracle here this year, and it sounds like we may not either (but you never know).

 

Like everyone else said above... ask your local retailers about Hopslam because when it does make it to FL, it goes fast. I've never seen Oracle this far south however.

 

Got some Oracle last year at TW on University. Never seen Black Note but Mr. Beerys did have a keg earlier this year.

 

Both are in Sarasota

 

Man, Im shocked to hear Black Note made it to FL. Makes me sad I moved away and missed it! Actually, I may have still lived there when it was at MR. Beerys, I just dont want to admit missing that!

 

My parents live in Lauderdale... my dad was able to score a few 6-ers of Hopslam at Total Wine last release. Bell's is also very popular there (I know when I spoke to him earlier, he had had a Bell's Amber and Two-Hearted at Tap 42)

 

Hops lam is all over Tampa, have not seen oracle but heard it is available.

 

The Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel had a keg of Black Note on tap several months back. I had 4 snifters of it and a couple other beers and was WRECKED

 

Bx tapped a keg of Black Note and Hopslam this year. People annihilated the Hopslam keg while I sat back and sipped 4 snifters of Black Note without having to worry about it running out...
