Here's where I would say "those IPAs don't taste like beer" and a shitshow would start. Kind of weird since they've never really made this type of IPA.

 

Anyone think this DDHDWFK will appear at the brewery? I'd think there would be more than one keg of it around.

Any Saazaquatch fans disappointed as I was with this years? Don't know if my taste changed or if it was just awful. Too much honey, didn't taste any ginger or peppercorns. I really loved this beer 2-3 years ago.

 

Just crushed a Tanto, wow is all I can say. Hopefully the cat doesn't get out of the bag.

Yep. It's really fucking good. The cat should be buried 6 feet deep.

 

These guys are getting really good...id imagine this trajectory will eventually take them to the hype train but until that day comes im ecstatic that i can walk straight to the bar and pick these cans up

 

I enjoyed it. the best Barrier beer ive had. i did like the 1st batch Oren reshi. havent had the current batch

 

Luckily for longtime fans - they are on LI and make more than just IPAs so I don't think the hype will get too overbearing. Its a nice atmosphere there so I'd hate for the BK and NJ line aficionados to get involved.
And I personally hope we don't see too many of these NE IPAs from them, way too boring a style for me.

 

Are tanto cans being distributed?

 

I think they said yes and heard the same from a local beer store.

No Fort Knox Warbucks at the brewery according to the peeps there. Only keg(s) for OMH were DDH.

As a legitimate question, how do you DDH one keg or kegs if a couple were made for their anny party? I didn't think they were casks of DDHDWFK.

 

Anyone have insight if cans will be around this weekend?

 

To answer your question the whole batch is double dry hopped and that comes straight from the brewery. Special for our event tomorrow but we assume that it will go out other places.
