I wonder how many BA bottles will be available that are not sold in the bundles. I am assuming they will sell out of bundles...which drives the question of what time one would need to be there Sunday morning to get to BA Big Hugs. I could take or leave Big Hugs and I liked vanilla last year though I wasn't blown away either. I do expect their BA to be great though given their early showing with their barrel program.

 

I'll handle this- Sounds like someone needs a Big Hugs...

That's great news...hopefully the beer is a tasty one. I'll probably pick some up, or at least try a draft of it and then decide.

 

That's excellent news, because it sounds like they'll be doing more of that going forward. Beer Hates Astronauts back in cans!!!

 

I'd also like to point out that they apparently have gift packs for Benthic and Orin coming on 12/20. Those fuckers...Could've just sold me one for that Friday release!

 

This is fantastic news. I love their hoppy beers, but always pass on the bombers.

Cans though is a game changer.

 

It was only a matter of time obviously, but getting their limited releases in cans has seemed like a far-off dream for so long. I probably won't pick this one up just based on the amount of beer I need to drink soon, but I'm tempted 50% based on the cans alone. Navaja was already a "game changer" in a lot of ways, but this is fucking great news.

In the interests of being a good beer advocate, it's in their latest email. Quote:

"Beginning 12/20, our retail shop will be selling holiday gift boxes for your shopping convenience.
Each box contains 2 custom glasses and 1 bottle of either Benthic Imperial Stout with Coconut and Coffee or Orin Barrel Aged Imperial Ale."

So you're forced to grab the glasses as well, but they're tumblers, and seem neat enough.

With that being said, I struck out the first time, so everyone stay away until I have mine, please.

Weirdly, I could swear a lot of HA's emails have gone into my spam/"promotions" folders in Gmail, but for some reason this one went through to my Inbox. It's like Gmail knows what I care about.

 

The Sunday morning forecast makes DLD look like San Diego Beer Week. 6 inches of snow and frigid temps makes the pre-order bundle look more appealing
