It was when I left at 6:30pm or so, and according to Untappd people checking it in now. really great beer, tasty, and for 10.2 % not boozy or syrupy. And 64 ounce growler fills are only $20, priced really well.

Great day at tap room today. With the fervor of hyped can releases, people have different experiences and make suggestions for improvements, but the people at Other Half are busting their asses every day to crank out great beer and make sure people have an enjoyable experience when they are there. We are lucky to have these guys cranking out new beer every two weeks like clockwork.

I'm wondering how the 12/17 release will pan out. I think a majority of people didn't flock to OH today because they were over at Finback (who had this release announced weeks prior). I'm really hoping that all the criticism they have received from fans regarding the ButS release will lead to a smoother release this go around.

You know what bothers me? The same 10-15 people on Untappd, who all seem to drive in from New Jersey, that post pictures of themselves bottle-sharing outside the brewery EVEN WHEN IT DOESN'T HAVE A FUCKING LINE! I've bottle shared with the employees at OH plenty of time, always offering them pours and having a good time with my friends in the process. But no, these idiots have to break the law at every fucking release and drink outside the brewery. You stupid fucks are the reason that the OH lines and fans get a bad reputation. Get bent.

As someone from jersey who doesn't drink at these releases, I'm totally with you. These people are an embarrassment. We don't want them. Looking forward to stopping by at noon next week on my way to Finback to pick up my BQE BOX.

It's not like the Other Half staff have actively asked people to not bottle share outside of their facility and cut it out ...

Oh wait, YES THEY FUCKING DID. Ugh. Just play by the fucking rules.

I'm there picking up more Red Wine IAL. I think it's the best OH Beer I've had since 2nd Anniversary. It drinks like a nice port

Anyone have thoughts on aging the stouts for a year or two?

I already give her my paycheck, so not sure how much different it would be.

Tried redeeming Xmas prez from mom for beer (I usually say I have everything I need), didn't work. Then I remember she owed me for a hotel room during a family trip! 80$ secured.

Buts blew up my fun money for the month! (Also tributary in ME- great Belgian stout!)

Great, so next weekend is what, DDH Stacks, a collaboration, a canned coffee stout and probably some bottles? This isn't gonna end well

To be honest, depending on what the bottles are and what the collab is, I'd be surprised if it wasn't a somewhat quiet release. The canned coffee stout is probably pretty good but not amazing. Vanilla lets people down more often than not. DDH stacks will be fine but nothing crazy.

Totally agree, and they have ramped up production so much it seems like they rarely sell out of anything early anymore, see monkish and trillium collabs, while very busy, didn't sell out with the initial lines.

Then yea, definitely can't see a huge line for that.
