After that too soft Tanto experience - loving this bottle of The Hills Have Hops - can't believe I never had it before. Dank and weedy, bitter and a bit chewy.

Does anyone know if they still have cans available? I'm not going to be too far from there later today and am thinking of stopping in quick.

They had all cans, bottles, and glassware on Wednesday night. I'd think they would post somewhere if they ran out. You'd def be able to get something if you stopped through. Bring a growler too. Warbucks is on for fills.

Someone needs to do a study on psychology of impact beer in cans has on beer geeks. I think the combination of local breweries with high demand/low supply colliding with their beer being released in cans has resulted in: cans=good. No doubt plenty of great beer in cans, but can releases have people lining up for hours all over the country and exhibiting extreme behavior to get cans. I understand the benefits of cans ( more portable, summertime drinking, etc, etc), but the fervor of getting cans goes way beyond the practical reasons.

There must be other psychological factors in play as well. For example, while I like Grimm and will definitely pick it up when I see it, I don't feel the need to chase it around town buying up my limit.

Then there's also the willingness of folks to buy up quantities of new releases that they or no one else have really tried or sampled. I do it (a 4-pack at most), but I'm leery of it.

I've always been content with drinking from my locals either on site, at bars or getting 2-3 growlers at a time.
The rest of the time I'm happy to go to the supermarket or beer distributer to stock up on Sierra Nevada, Anchor, Jack's Abby, German beers, etc.
No FOMO here, I don't trade (which I think alot of cans are headed for anyway) or stalk the expensive bottle shops. There are alot of different beer drinkers out there with different priorities. Won't stop me from reading and laughing at the biweekly Other Half line shitshow threads though.

According to the Rushing Duck Insta the Barrier/Rushing Duck collab War Daddy is being canned soon. They also said Barrier is getting some cans as well. Hopefully we see those soon at the brewery!

Anyone spotted the cans out in the wild yet (at bottle shops/stores), or are they all brewery-only?

Had it over the weekend at One Mile House - it's pretty good! I couldn't believe it's nearly 10%, it certainly hides that well.

edit: @LarryK - also had a can of Tanto at OMH.

If I missed the sarcasm in your above reply, pardon me. But in case you weren't kidding, I'm pretty sure @rozzom was referencing this...
