I'm RS and after the taxes and cost to have it shipped out to PA it will basically be $50 still. I can live without it I'm sure.

Thing is, I did receive a PS email for some reason (even though I am not PS) so assumed there was an RS one too.

Obviously logged in a little late, but snagged a 2TD. Were 3FH and TPF available to RS, or were they both HS only?

Bummer. Thanks though. TPF is the only bottle I didn't have in my vertical. But good to know my logging on 15 minutes late wasn't to blame.

Strange. I received the PS email, but not an RS email. So only HS and PS got emails. :astonished:

what's the difference between 3 french hens and trois poules francais other than the name? did they make two different beers for that year?

Trois Poules Francais is the BA version that was aged in wine barrels with Syrah grapes in it. More of a sour and early experimentation on blending with grapes/wine.

I had Trois Poules Francais about 2 years ago and if I remember correctly, it was on the downhill slope.

"Downhill slope" is pretty accurate for what I felt about two turtle doves when I drank it 4 years ago.

I actually dig TPF but 3FH I thought was on a downward slope. I've still got a couple bottles in the fridge but I was bummed last time I had one. At one point in time that was my favorite beer on the planet.

Opened a Rye Sucre the other day. That beer is tasting great - super smooth.

Email went out with a lot of 2017 info.

Details of the first allocation are outlined, the first SMM is a $30 society kick off party....

No more membership cards (I always forgot mine anyway) and the growlers do not appear to be branded for membership level (no more humble brags for HS to swing em around) but more importantly it gives more details about the sale windows and how they work..

    ++++++++

As you may recall, our beer release schedule to Society members is evolving in 2017. New beer releases to Society members will typically occur on the first Monday of the month, with fulfillment beginning the following week.

You’ll be allocated a certain number of bottles to purchase during each sales window. Emails will have details about the beer, price, number of bottles available to you and the end date of the sales window. During initial allocations, you may be able to request additional bottles of beers as well. If we’re able to grant your request, we’ll automatically add the bottles to your order on the first day of fulfillment. Many Society-released brands may return for a second sales window, which opens up the day after fulfillment begins.

Here’s what that looks like for January:

    FIRST
Initial allocations will run from Monday, January 9 through Sunday, January 15.
    Fulfillment begins Monday, January 16.

    SECOND
A second sales window will run from Tuesday, January 17 through Wednesday, January 25.

    THIRD
Certain beers may be released more broadly on Friday, January 27.

We’ll share more information about the feature to request additional bottles in the weeks ahead!
