    id like to go, depends on work. if its anything like GB, don't bother going unless u are there a little early. Probably wont be able to stroll in 30 mins after release and get anything if its anything like GB

    Yes, send me as many juicy beers as you can and I'll explain the difference when I'm done with the research. It can be juicy but if it has a hop bite at the end it is an IPA, whereas the NE IPA should be smoother or very subtle on the back end bitterness.

    I grabbed two 4 packs each of Mellotron and Milkstachio at Orland Binny's on my lunch break. They had a decent amount of cases on the floor. I hope I like Mellotron more than GB v2. I thought that was too dry of a beer.

    I wonder if the demand for these just isn't as high as the GB? I am surprised it was just sitting out. but I guess I only have the GBv2 release to go off of.

    Same here. I didn't have the first batch of Galaxy Bowl. I walked in there expecting to see a limit 1 on the Mellotron like I did for GB. There wasn't a limit on either so I grabbed 2 of each as I have a couple of buddies who want to try it.

    Azacca hops don't get the turnout of some more popular options so I can see less demand for Mellotron than GB.

    Sort of off-topic, but would this be the best/closest place to try to pick up some beer while taking 80 south of the city? Doesn't look like it's too far off the interstate.

    Yeah it's not too far off of 80. Get off at LaGrange and head north. Probably 15 minutes or so. Traffic around Orland sucks.

    Good, I'd have been salty if I missed it on tap there. Too much beer in my fridge, so I gotta drink new stuff on tap (hides the evidence! :stuck_out_tongue:).

    In my opinion Mellotron is superior to any GB batch. Might be the best "style" that I have had in Chicago so far. I am just happy that there are so many flavors to try in our neck of the woods. Keep them coming!
