I was unlucky enough to be 15 minutes too late at Arrowine yesterday. Anybody know if the TWs still have any CM in stock as of this morning?

The update I gave above was after i picked up from TW mclean at ~915pm or so last night so i would imagine they still have some left but probably dwlinding down (its on the floor right when you walk in)

Anyone see GBS variants in DC, at TJs, d'vines, connecticut ave, etc? Hardywood has said that TJs definitely has bourbon and should have CM by now but I live a block from the 14th street TJs and have seen neither yet, just regular.

 

We're working on it at TJ's 14th, and I'll post here if we do. I know VA TJ's stores like Alexandria got Bourbon GBS before we did last year, if you want to check there.

 

CM, Black Note and a bunch of new Wicked Weed beers, including Milk and Cookies have shown up at TW Springfield yesterday evening. They may have one or two high-westified left.

Lot of talk about Milk & Cookies up in here as if it's something worthwhile. I, for one, was monumentally disappointed in that beer. Unless you love cinnamon bombs, I would steer clear.

None north of the city yet. I have heard some baltimore county stores got very limited shipments and none at total wine yet.

 

What are you guys thinking about CM (regular)? I saw one for $9 and couldn't resist even though I'm far from the HW fanboy.

Anyways, regular GBS, I think it's okay, smell is 4.5 but everything else is a little too smooth, although I get that non-beer geeks might enjoy that at a holiday meal. So this CM, it's pretty good but doesn't smell anything like GBS or gingerbread cookies. Adjunct-y as fuck, you might say. It's a little confusing, but better than I expected.

They should do "Christmas in Cancun" with Mexican spices added as well.

 

Damn, this sounds a lot more like an "if" than a "when." Oh well. Thanks for the update, at least I can stop checking frequently making sure I didn't miss it.
