The Brew Gentlemen

Wow - now I'm really excited to visit.

 

Any idea on if or when they are planning to can?!

 

Hopefully soon but they are gonna need more brewing equipment to keep up with the demand.

 

Surprised it took so long for a thread to be made. Along with Tree House, they've made some of the best hoppy beers I've ever had.

 

These guys are absolutely killer. If you don't visit them when you're in Pittsburgh, you're doing it wrong.

 

Yo Darwin my man, yeah looks like they started it back in June but are keeping it real hush hush and hoarding all the awesomeness to themselves! Jk, soon the Pa turnpike will be nothing but Tired Hands and Brew Gentlemen cans traveling back and forth.

 

Does anyone know if they sell 32 oz grolwers there? Are they flip top? Cant find anything on the website.
Usually take my own but getting one for a gift.

 

We sell both 2L (½ gallon) and 750mL growlers. Growler fill pricing is located on our menu

So I have noticed that two of the more prominent participants in this thread right now are a Buckeyes fan and a Clemson fan. Is this thread going to just shut down come playoff time?

 

I have had my 1/2 growlers filled too for a small up charge from the 750ml price.

 

Yeah not to hijack the thread, but the Pittsburgh scene in general is killing it. Was in town during Thanksgiving and hit up Dancing Gnome, Insurrection, Grist House, Spoonwood, and Drai Laag and they were all great. Haven't been to Brew Gentlemen since the summer, but Dancing Gnome was probably the highlight of my thanksgiving trip. In all, can't wait to come home tomorrow for an extended break! Hope to hit up Brew Gentlemen to try General Braddock again (wasn't a big fan in the summer but was told they have been tweaking the recipe since).

 

If they start doing can releases can I bring my chair!?!

Dancing Gnome was a huge surprise. Cool space, and nice beers. They have a ton of potential. Went to a beer fest last time I was there and Insurrection really impressed me.

 

Said to be bottling some stuff and releasing in the new year.

Finally made it back to BG yesterday, had been awhile. That A-B Test is on point. Was really hoping to try the Mammoth, but it was gone.

 

these guys have plan for a canning machine..? sorry if it's been asked/responded to before... i can't have been the first to ask
