Trying to warm up from these frigid temps.

    2016 Griffin Claw Flying Buffalo
This year's batch seems to be a bit "hotter" than last year's. I still think I like the Coffee variant a little better.

    Cheers fellow BAs!

Negative temps out there. Hopefully the chai will keep things warm.

It's cold, it's dark and I can't sleep! Enjoying this local, RIS with coconut. No, it doesn't taste like a '13 Prop, but it's not bad. Hoping the 12% ABV will induce some sleep!

Bourbon, caramel, chocolate, and some bitterness from the roasted malt. Another delicious year/batch:

A tad thin for 9.5, but it drinks so silky. Lite, dry barrel finish. Yum! I have visions of long lines at the post office later this am. Cheers morning Advocates!

It's so damn good. Only other chai flavored beer I had was Chai a Sutra from Hailstorm, and this one blows that one out of the water. I may end up buying another four pack this morning.

5.7% alcohol. Brewed in Louisiana. The 8:40 AM tasting, with hog's head cheese.

And my sweet wife thinks that it's the beer that's going to do me in - my favorite breakfast with Great Lakes' Ohio City Oatmeal Stout:

Cheers from the Treasure Coast where it may hit 80 again today!

Not a fan, but it looks like I'm not the only one. I blame the lactose sugar... just funky, but not in a good way. Not upset about the beer, just the choice for my 1st beer of the day.

Good morning, and Happy Thursday BA's! Really looking for to "The Day of the Dark" this weekend, thanks to @LeperJim . I'm pretty sure I have a shoe in plan for that glass to be mine :sunglasses:. Well...maybe the bottle opener, but we'll see! Anyhoo, it's time for the Glass of the Day Awards!

    GotD:
Thanks to inquiring minds , the Staff and I say we'll be damned if @mschrei puts in 8 long years at HMM and gets nothing out of it. So now, this gold rim mug isn't just a memento...it's an AWARD WINNING memento! Cheers and congrats!
2nd: Vintage Ice Cream, or Soda Fountain glass? Who cares!? It's awesome, and a day doesn't end in "Y" if @dcotom doesn't get another award :grinning:.
3rd: To @JackRWatkins for a proper Good Beer El Gordo post that defies gravity :grimacing:...!

Cheers everyone, and I will see you all soon!

    GotD.

The maple is obnoxious and incredibly artificial. There wasn't any barrel, coffee/roast, or smoke. It's a little light in body for the abv and it's an in your face sugar bomb. We're currently having a discussion about it in my local Indy group. I'm apparently not the only one in the group that feels this way. Adjuncts on steroids are just the Funky Buddha way....

One more of these. This fits the bill, the kind of beer that we are talking about in other threads. Authentic ingredients and the hops are saaz and willamette. Low IBU's has a crisp hop bitterness and no citrusy fruit. I think this is a traditional lager beer in this way too, it's local. Small brewery. You can't get this beer. Only I can get this beer :grinning::stuck_out_tongue: Cheers!

Wow, thanks @Lingenbrau and staff! I thought there was no way anybody could have beaten @dcotom's fountain glass. The honor is appreciated and will now be added to my resume.
