My first bottle didn't live up to last year's batch IMO.

Wow...J-Tree...yes I heard Five Horses had Coffee, I heard it was last year's and this year's I think though. Regardless, that's still awesome, plus 4 Trillium taps.

My original plan was to maybe head back to Hugh O'Neill's and then Idle Hands again, and then finally check out Ginger Man in Boston afterwards.

But now I'm thinking hit up J-Tree in Davis (~5 minute for me), then Uber it into town to Five Horses for dinner, and then Gingerman.

You can get a flight of 5 oz. pours for ~$28. That's still quite a bit of alcohol, I don't know how long I took to drink it, but I calculated that's about four beers worth of beer...do it!

So I can buy 12 singles x $9.99 each = $119.88 total or a case of 12 for $119.99? I'd love to grab a case, open it up at the register, and make them ring 'em up 1x1 so I can save the $0.11:rolling_eyes:

I'd pay the extra $0.11 just to have an unopened case, probably easier to carry.

Heck, we have to pay an extra $0.10 for bags in Cambridge and Somerville now.

Natty greenes tavern in north Attleboro still has 2015 and 16 on tap. Definitely running low last night but it's been there all week.

I bought a bunch of singles there last year for $8.99/bottle. Their pricing seems to always be well below the norm.

Buy a bag, throw the 12 bottles in there, hope the bag doesn't break--boom, you're still up $0.01:wink:

BCBS last year at Supreme was $7.99/each, $90 case @bostonwolf . I checked a few other BCBS threads and believe that was actually the lowest price in the country. Still a great deal this year at $8.99.

The 2014 BCBCS at Five Horses South End was superb today.

BCBS kicked at Stoddards but they have '15/'16 bottles at a very reasonable $17 each.

Co-worker tried BCBS for the first time this weekend. Was a big fan, anyone know where regular is still kicking around?

Five Horse in Somerville has 2013 Backyard Rye on tap still. A little pricey, but worth it if you weren't able to try it first time around.

eff me - how long has that been on tap? I knew GI dropped a bunch of vintage logs around the Boston area, just didn't know we'd see stuff like that!

Fingers crossed it lasts until tomorrow... anyone want to order me one and have it set aside behind the bar for 30 hours or so?

I think it's certainly possible it will be, based on price/pour size and the fact it's still on nearing two days.
