Bruery 2016 RS/HS Allocations

I'll trade you an empty PB&T for a Derde Golf. I haven't had a desire to buy anything this year. Some of it is due to pricing. Most of it is because I already have those bottles.

 

Found out these glasses were offer in last years 12 days xmas sale. Box set with two of the glasses and came with six geese and 7 swans. Only 100 were sold. Another Member reached out to them and see if they had any spares.

If anyone has a set or one of the glasses willing to let go hit me up!

I too, drank a 3FH yesterday and found it to be everything I could have hoped for after aging. Still carbed, still tasted like a belgian dark, probably wouldn't be the same next year. Think I'll polish the rest of my Xmas beers I have saved from Bruery over the next 10 days.

Had the BA 6 geese a few months ago and it was pretty bad, IMO.

 

Yes. Had a couple other beers in between two.

4CB is still fantastic, 5GR is a touch off but still very good.

I also think it's funny the 'revealing sour notes' for BA6GL, the last one I had was sour as hell.

 

In a good way or a bad way (assuming you like sour beers)?

For others who had upgraded to RS from PS in the past, will The Bruery automatically cancel recurring PS account or will I need to do it myself by contacting them?

 

No, because you can have both memberships.

 

I think you can even have as many PS as you want, if you wanted multiple three beer sets each quarter.

You must email them to cancel PS - BUT remember that RS doesn't kick in until Jan 1, so if they're holding any beers for you, or you want to buy anything with PS discount before then, DON'T cancel yet because you'll have a gap in privileges when you do.

 

Really hoping for some of the original Beauregard to pop up for sale, but haven't seen that in a really long time. A pretty fun sale so far. Wasn't really trying to complete an Xmas set, but may just do it now that they've put so many of them up for sale.

It is, and it's pretty fucked. Selling old beer with the risk of oxidation is fine, but I'd love to hear their justification for knowingly selling infected beer.
