I just repeated what I said before, that was the literal quote, didn't screen shot it.

Does anyone know any details about why they are no longer restricted to 192 oz from behind the bar?

some dude bitched about them making lagers/pills and not enough dipas/shakes.. basically saying nobody wants the lagers/pills so instead of making those make more dipas/shakes... he was implying they don't make as much of the high demand items to keep demand high etc... tired hands retorted with something like,"who the fuck are you, man" dude then replied to TH with some long winded blah blah blah since he got called out.

    the joys of social media!

They posted the other day that they are no longer bound by the 192oz rule. Trying to do some googling now. Don't know if it was a part of the bill that was signed in november and coming into effect now?

And GUESS WHAT?? We are no longer restricted from selling more than 192oz of to-go beer which means that you can come in and buy a full allotment of each of these two. One case of each per person is our limit. Here until they're gone. #dreambeer

FWIW, the new law that permits beer distributors to sell by the 6-pack (or single bottles) doesn't go into effect until Jan. 14, 2017.

Maybe the new law had multiple effect dates?

    Cheers!

I grabbed the last 2 Hop Hands four packs at about 12:10, plenty of Helles left.

Laws are only truly laws when they are enforced. Distributors also started selling 12 packs immediately when that bill was passed and before it was effective. I think it's more of a general we'll look the other way since we know it's legal in a couple weeks.

    I agree with you there.

    Cheers!

P.S. FWIW both of my local beer distributors seem to be waiting until Jan. 14, 2017 until they sell 6-packs/bottles. They certainly are not selling them now.

Oh man just realized that I'm going to be able to make it to Tired Hands by 245 tomorrow since our holiday party means a half day at work. Never been early to a can release much less a milkshake release. Never have had to pay attention to the parking map, do people leave their chairs to go move their cars or feed the meters? Best place to park to avoid that?

And with a high of 27 degrees and gale force winds I might plant my chair and head inside! Hahahahaha maniacal laughter!

People leave their chairs to go eat and drink in the restaurant so I'm sure feeding the meters is commonplace. I plan on being there around 2 and putting the chair out with my wife and enjoying some brews inside. There's a few alleys but it can be tricky to find a spot without feeding meters. I might drop my wife off with the chairs and go find one a bit away so I don't have to worry about it. This is only the second time I've done this - first time I just fed the meters and stayed in the same spot and it worked..

So the meters are for all day as long as you feed them? Not like in the city with 2 hour or so windows?

You gotta feed them every 2 hrs.

I think this is the latest TH has ever gone without announcing what the next day's release will be... Anyone have some inside info..?
