There's some good stuff in the Northeast Metro, but you just have to search a bit harder. I've acquired dozens of hard to get stuff at Heritage, some of the Cub liquors, Morelli's Meat Market in East Saint Paul, etc.

This explains why they're always like, "Your Mich-Golden is in the back corner cooler, peasant!" every time I enter France 44.

A few rye barrel pentagram left at Sam's club in Woodbury for $18 and change out the door! They also have toppling Goliath cans there now.

Oh and total wine Bloomington had all the prairie variants that came in, one bottle limit each. This was about 3 hours ago.

Top Ten Andover just tweeted they have Prairie variants and High Westified, 1pp. Anyone know of places on the south side that still have High Westified? I've struck out thus far and won't make it up to Andover in time to snag a bottle.

It's not that great if you have to actually, ya know, WORK during the day...
I live between SLL and F44 and I rarely get the good stuff by the time I get there after 6pm.

I live 6 blocks from SLL and am on a first name basis with multiple employees, but I still miss out on plenty of the limited stuff. As mentioned above, I have a 9 to 5 to thank for that. It is a wondearful store but you have to got 3 or more times a week to stay on top of the crazy number of limited releases.

Had a bottle of the Vanilla in mid 2014 and it was very thin and EXTREMELY carbonated. This batch is great though and I wouldn't hesitate to pick up bottles again.

Grabbed a vanilla, pirate and prairie noir for good measure. Got the coffee yesterday. Here comes a snowy cold weekend of new brews!

I had some from that timeframe as well. The batch I had was infected. I made the mistake of putting it in the cellar for a few months and it was intensely funky.

I've had the vanilla and coffee so far and really enjoyed both, but maybe the coffee a little more. I'm not sure if they are using the same base stout for all these noir beers but I think its a great stout especially barrel aging and incorporating other flavors. I think I enjoyed the apple brandy variant a little more than both these but these prairie noir beers are awesome and worth picking up at least one of each imo. I'll be seeking out a few more bottles.

Can someone drink a Culture Project #1 and let me know if it is worth taking a loan out of my 401k to buy more beer!
