    Training camps have started so it’s time to start thinking basketball.

    I am looking to start a fantasy basketball league and I would like to find 10 -12 guys who know their shit. I ran a league last season and it was a lot of fun (for about half the league). Some managers were noobs and inexperienced so by the time we were half way through the already shortened lockout season, many of the guys became uninvolved. I’m looking for some guys that love to play fantasy basketball and love to win great beers.

    Rules

    10 or 12 team ESPN league
    Head to Head
    Scoring categories: FG%, FT%, 3PM, REB, AST, STL, BLK, PTS
    Live Snake Draft: Week of Oct 22-26. I will try to get a group consensus on the best time.

    Prizes

    Each team will ship a box containing 100 oz of beer and a $20 in brewery swag in the form of glasses, t-shirt, logoed accessories, you know…cool stuff. In keeping with the spirit of a BIF, the beers should be desirable. I’m not asking for baller stuff, just beers you’d be happy to receive and proud to send.

    The prize breakdown may vary depending on the size of the league, but I am going to assume 10 players for now. If 12, then 4th place wins.

    1st Place (Finals Winner): 5 boxes
    2nd Place (Finals Runner Up):3 boxes
    3rd Place (Consolation Round Winner):2 boxes

    Please BM me if you are interested. Serious & respected traders please. Last season I had one guy lose in the consolation round and decided not to send a box at all. Not cool.

    Should be an exciting season in the NBA. Hope you will join us!

    I would have liked to have joined, but since the Magic traded Dwight Howard to the Lakers for a sixer of Meister Brau I will respectively bypass my interest in this NBA season and wait for my beloved Cubs to play baseball in 2013. Oh wait, the Cubs are going to suck still ??? Catch me in 2014.................

    I would love to play, but only thing that makes me nervous is the draft. Ill be out of town on business all that week. Keep me posted on what the happenings are Scotty!

    Just jump on the Heat bandwagon... Haha just kidding :wink: . Although I have to admit, as much as I hate Lebron and the Heat if I lived in Florida I probably would. You do have one of the best arenas in the NBA with Amway Center though. It puts the TD Garden to shame.

    Ummm, excuse me mister but you hardly "crushed" me. We battled in the Finals and the last week was a throw away, but our overall records were pretty close. 67-27-2 for your team. 62-33-1 for me. I'd say we both crushed everyone. Things will be different this season, my friend.

    Well, this didnt take long. We filled up 12 spots so this league is now full. Thanks to all you ballers stepping up to compete for some tasty beers. I'll get the league setup and send a BM to all managers.
