I skipped the line today even though I was off. Honestly I'm enjoying the Oblivex (killer beer)from last week and betting on the Milkshakes being average, but I hope it went well for anyone that lined up. Sounds scary that the peach milkshake didn't get released.

I'm trying some no-sediment Blackberry Milkshake now. It's much more bland than a normal milkshake, all of the vanilla flavor is gone and the fruit flavors remind me of Abita Purple Haze.

    Second pour

Embracing the snow globe. Honestly it tastes better and it tastes much more like a milkshake IPA if you were blindfolded. The texture is bad though and it is guaranteed to cause gas.

Did the line thing today, well at least joined the ranks of chairs. Got there at 245, was on the second lot along cricket. Even checking right before 5 the line looked like it never got past the fence on the second lot.

Pretty similar experience for me - no more vanilla, just tasted like a fruity shelf IPA. Kind of malty, a little fruity. Not offensive but certainly not worth keeping beyond as a science experiment.

What is this Happy Holidaze can that they were apparently selling? Just a silent release?

While the snow globe isnt the greatest look, I dont really mind it - they still taste great.

I got there at 2PM and was in line half way down back lot sidewalk. When I left at 5:45, the line was pretty gone - there were a handful of people waiting on the back lot sidewalk to walk over. I bet it lasted until 7.

I skipped the release but was at Johnny Brenda's and they had the Strawberry Milkshake, which I had one glass of.

It tasted like...a Tired Hands Milkshake. Everyone I was with who had never had a TH beer before thought it was way too sweet.

So Oblivex and Heist Decoder...two best recent beers from Tired Hands? Especially the Heist.

Damn space needle, you're right! I have one left. I feel Oblivex is a great representation of a well made tired hands beer but heist and space needle approach something else. Heist I rated higher than very green and I stand by that haha.

gotta make dat $ honey... shocked they were closed any day honestly, not like they didn't have the beer/food to serve and or staff to serve it.. guess they had maintenance or cleaning to do but that can be done off hours i'm sure

Well it's not unusual for restaurants to be closed Mondays - slowest day.

I just realized the irony of that picture of the beers & burgers, when the first line of their website still touts that they are too haughty to serve a lowly cheeseburger. Oops!

true, i just figure they arent' closed because they don't have product, seemed they were closed to give staff a rest and or maintenance etc on the location. Guess they have more staff now and have figured out how/when etc to clean yada yada to be open 7 days a week.. when people are looking to give you $ you should be looking to take it especially if it's going to be $ that is profitable is basically all I'm getting at

    the burger is good
