Mother of all storms... I can't keep up with all these freaking abbreviations either. We hijacked/turned this thread into a San Francisco Bay Area liquor store thread sorry. It started cause they had Bourbon county stuff listed along with MOAS this past week.

That's the cheapest I've seen. Too bad it's just one. Anyone seen it at Ralph's in LA?
I'd like to buy another case.

Maybe one of our Texas comrades can look into this...Total Wine has Backyard Rye listed as possibly being available at the San Antonio (the Rim) location. The Total Wine Website is definitely deceiving sometimes ( I don't know why it's so difficult for them to get their shit together...my local wine store has up to the minute online inventory updates on BEER that's accurate as all getup so it can't be that difficult). Maybe a local San Antonian should call, see if they ACTUALLY have this and snag this sucker if it's really true. It could be a major freaking score. A 2 minute phone call could be worth it. I realize it could be an inventory glitch. Stranger things have happened. It's definitely not avail for shipping or anything like that. This link may or may not work as posted on this BA forum.

It's been showing stock since late '14, I'm sure it's an error.

Thanks for the heads up. I was able to snag one at a bottle shop in the area, and just had a pour over the weekend, so I will likely hold off.

Broadway Liquors in Oakland has 2016 regular BCBS - 3 or 4 on the shelf and at least 3-4 in the cold case. At $19.99 each I said thank you very much, but no thank you.

That place makes me sad. So much potential wasted on trying to capitalize on the geek/hunter market. That same place has a bottle of pappy 12yr.... For $3000

Wow, that might be an all-time high level of douchebaggery for a bottleshop! It makes the $150 Cantillons at a shop near me seem like a deal

    Bills liquor in Torrance
    Had bcbs 2016 for $19.99
And has a lot of the barleywine at $24.99
The guy was upset after I looked that I did not buy
He then tried to tell me that was a good price because it is rare
I love how they distribute to these stored and the good stores that care about the beer community and hook up geeks like us get shut out
I am so over goose island

You should have told him you picked up one of many cases sitting at your local Ralph's for 9.99/btl. So rare.

I told him BCBS was $9.99 at local stores
and I told him the barleywine was $12.99
he got more pissed and said he paid more than that for both bottles
I just shut up and left will never go back
he had great beer and horrible prices
