By the way, I opened up the Eclipse Elijah Craig version. It's really good and probably worth the $25.99 at Binny's this weekend

I have heard that these are fantastic. Just need to figure out when the time is right to buy one.

Anyone know if Beer Temple posts those kinds of beers for sale on their website?
If they had all the BA Prairie stuff as of Wednesday and if they were posted online I do not see any of them now. I have never been there so I dont know what to expect, I guess.

I would say they typically won't post any of the BA prarire stuff online. Anything that sells out fast won't make it online. It's a very popular store and the good stuff usually doesn't make it past the day it arrives. It is for sure worth checking out

I feel like they sneak rarer releases into their "just in" photos though they may not point them out by name

I think he was referring to posting them online for sale. They generally do post everything in their pictures on IG/Twitter of what they just received, as you mentioned. But, stuff like the BA Prairie bottles (or really anything BA) will not make it into their online store.

They almost always have the beers in the picture. That is 99% of the fun in following them on twitter.

So any upcoming releases people are excited for? I can't think of anything big left coming out soon.

Wheelhouse and BA Wheelhouse from Four Fathers in Valpo are both legit.

Well, I'm not sure if this something to be excited about or big, but Jewel announced they have more Rare being released at select locations. And they then confirmed on Facebook that they took the feedback from people that bought it at $129.99 on Black Friday, and will be selling it for $79.99. I am not sure what Jewel is doing, and I REALLY don't know what A-B is doing with these additional releases, but I'll hope Binny's gets some and get it there.

$80 Rare is newsworthy. Any beer that comes in it's own coffin is newsworthy. I'd like to see a really rare BCBS next year, something like: Proprietor's Rare- Proprietors double barrel aged for two years.

Yeah, just what we need, more hype around Bourbon County...

Huh, interesting. I just assume that's the initial Rare they couldn't sell at $130, though.

But I've been wrong many times in regards to BCS.

You may be right. I honestly think the bottom may be falling out on 2015 Rare....put it back down to $60 and watch it fly off the shelves.

Still can't get over how much "Rare" there is to go around.

And no, don't tell me the name just has to do with the barrels.

I mean the name does have to do with the barrels. Noboday ever said it was a small bottle count.

I am in sales and marketing, but these additional "drops" or "releases" of BCBS seem to diminish the entire Black Friday release. From a customer standpoint I think it's great we have more access to these beers, but if I waited in line for hours in the cold I would not be happy.
I imagine that some possibilities for this are:
    1) A-B feels terrible about all the recalls of BCBS and wants to make up for it (unlikely)
    2) A-B saw there was extra inventory of 2015 Rare and 2016 variants and wanted them out the door to make up for lost revenue this past year (likely)

I don't buy it. They always retain stock for marketing purposes. You'll see these released every year until the next batch in 2020 and even then you may see some stores with a case to reward those who waited in line in 2020. I've seen this from GI for the past 6 years, it isn't anything new.
