Anyone know what's left in the cooler at J. Ryan's, by the way? Roughly speaking, of course.

BCBS will be nice and all, but . . . am I really the only one that's more interested in Stillwater, Evil Twin, and the Perfect Crime being available in CNY? Not to mention Capt. Lawrence, whenever the hell that actually happens.

Im with you on the still water and evil twin. It's really popped up in the albany/Schenectady area. Would be nice for it to come here. Captain Lawrence will definitely be here in January. I, for one, am incredibly excited about that arrival. J Ryan's has not had any for a while and I'm missing it.

January! Well Happy New Year to us. Yeah I'm looking forward to the next fresh bottle of Captain's Reserve I can get my hands on :-)

Gotta agree with yah, as I know you have been a fan of CL like myself. With that bottling line up and running and scott coming north for meetings...The January rumors must be true.

Now if we can only get cigar city up here. With their presence in NYC already and an expanded brewery, I think they are the next great brewery coming to upstate (or at least hope)

if someone could post whenever Founders Harvest Ale arrives at Galeville (mid Oct I hope) it would be appreciated - Rochester hasn't been getting new Founders releases in a timely manner and I'd like to try this one as fresh as possible.

Yeah, same here. Fresh hop beers are best when they're . . . fresh.

I agree on the Cigar City. It's great to be back in Central NY, but CCB became my favorite brewer while I was in Florida. We brought a bunch of stuff with us, but it won't last forever.

I'll be happy about the Stillwater, too. My brother brings those from Boston when he visits. Never had the Captain Lawrence. Will have to give it a try whenever it turns up.

You can get ccb (guava grove) once in awhile in random places (j Ryan's Togo, Ithaca...), but I'm not sure I've seen them at half-time and definitely not in buffalo. I'm curious what seasonal releases we would see first.

Yeah, Finger Lakes had a case of Guava Grove a while back. They were in NYC recently doing some bar events, so I'm hoping that means they're going to start sending stuff into distribution up here again. I know they ran into some snags with their expansion, and a lot of bottles didn't even make it into distribution throughout Florida this year. I suspect that once they get the canning line going, that's going to be the first set of stuff to go into wide distribution. IIRC, the can lineup picture they put up on facebook in the spring was Jai-Alai, Maduro, Tocobaga, Hotter than Helles and one more, maybe Florida Cracker?

    But I'm just guessing.

Very jealous. You must have a solid trading partner in minny. Between wet, smoke, and surly fest, I am longing to fill those offerings in from an awesome brewery.

Was someone looking for Flower Power? The Co-Op had a bunch on Friday if anyone was.

Rochester has some bottled 9/26 and you guys usually get it faster than us, so I assume so.

Holy hell. Despite our proximity to the brewery, I've never had it that fresh—might have to get a sixer on principle.

The first time I had it was fresh on tap at the brewery. Well worth it, in my opinion. I didn't buy any only because I have a six-pack of CCB Jai Alai in the basement that my wife brought back from Florida.
