High-Westified in CA yet?

not that this really matters- particularly about the Westified situation. my 2015 BCBS only had the release year on the neck. the date coding was on the rear label & i do suspect the time stamp was created on the label before application to the bottle.

the bottle base has what looks like laser coding. it's not easy to see & perhaps isn't relevant to the beer inside the bottle but simply the glass bottle itself. not sure.

 

You are correct. There are numbers on the bottom of the 2015 bottles. There are no numbers on the bottoms of the 2016 bottles.

I know we are getting a little off subject, but if the bottom is a julian date then it's August 6 and 7th. And if the time stamp is correct, then it was 5 hours between the best and worst I experienced last year.

 

New batches I've seen have 323 6 1 / 9824 1201 and 323 6 1 / 9824 1302. Hopefully they are fine.

 

i think we've established the batch # is 9824. which all of the codes discussed thus far out of Petaluma appear to be from the same "batch".

 

Bought some at Total Wine & More in Folsom yesterday, so the new batches must be out. Woohoo!

 

damn, unless I'm just checking all the wrong places, it's a total no show in SD

 

I have yet to find it in North County, i've looked at most of the top spots but not Holiday Wine in Escondido yet.

 

I just got back from Total Wine Tustin. They had 4 unopened cases of Lagunitas High Westified on the floor by the cigar room.

 

Anyone seen this in La yet?

 

Dropped today in SD. All bottlecraft shops got two cases each. Id assume bine and vine, best damn, etc will be getting it as well.

 

Just left TW Northridge. Grabbed two 12 packs. There was 8 1/2 cases on the floor when I left.

 

4th Street Whole Foods in San Francisco has it.

 

Vendome Bev hills has gottem

 

Just grabbed a case at liquor Mart Whittier.

6 cases left

 

Texas liquor got it in Carlsbad 7 cases left

 

I just got back from there! I think it looked like ~5 cases left.

I'm just here for the holidays so I dunno if that place is well-known, but they have a sneaky good selection. Spotted a Bruery Fruet (2012 anniversary ale) on the shelf for $40, along with Bois/Sucre/Cuivre from 2013-15 - that's tough to get in the Bruery's occasional special sales for society members, let alone even seeing it on a store shelf.
