Regarding the pricing, just a hunch. I think Stone has priced it to move it. Does no good with EURO 5 /can price tag and collect dust on the shelf. From what I've read, it's under many other smaller craft brewery prices and that was probably very intentional.

Does anyone have any insight as to how the taproom in Berlin is being received? Is it busy there?

Maybe some oompah bands would spark business at Stone-Berlin?

What do you think Greg (@StoneGreg)?

    Cheers!

    A proposito di Stone:
I had the Berlin-brewed Stone IPA on tap at my local BrewDog pub a week or two back. Maybe it's just because I read it here and so was looking for it, but I did find the hop character to be a bit different from the US version, which I've had more than my fair share of over the years. I'd say it was a little less fruity and citrusy and a little more herbal. Delicious beer.

Now Penny Markt have got in on the act. Next week they are selling a "Craft Beer".

It's called John Malcolm, weighs in at 7.6% abv and is billed as a white stout.

At 3.99€ for 4 330ml bottles it's not cheap by Discounter standards.

Who knows what this one will be like?

Wonder if the Penner will pick up a few 4-packs to split...between 35-cent cans of Kaiser Krone.

Is your local BrewDog in Bologna? Heading there on July 7th.
