Hey All- I missed what I'm pretty sure is my last chance to try CBS for now at Eddies Roadhouse in warwick NY on Christmas Eve. I unfortunately had to work and didn't make it to their Founders Brunch where they tapped what I'm pretty sure is one of the last CBS kegs in these parts.

Anyone care to share if there are any possibilities out there coming up? I'm in NNJ and NYS area. I'm not holding my breath believe me.
    Thanks all- cheers!

Poor Henry's had it on tap at their New Years Eve Party. It was only available to people who had event tickets. As far as I know, that was the last keg available for distribution in the entire area.

Chances of that CBS keg making it to 5pm?

Last time CBS was making the rounds in NYC the kegs were lasting for several days. Given everything else on that menu, I would expect it's not going to totally disappear.

What is the smallest pour they will do? Would be great to sample a bunch of these.

Heaven Beside You is quite good and I fear it'll be underrated on this list.

I thought similarly. Also, hope this held up well with all the adjuncts since this was released back in June/July.

went to Stout Night @ Barcade yesterday..got there right around 3pm..not at all crowded..got to drink quite a few glasses of CBS before the keg kicked(not sure exactly when it happened but roughly around 630ish) and it was fantastic as usual..also had the BQE(vastly underrated ), and the Speedway Variants(passed on Hawaiian thou)..place didn't really get crazy till about 7, and when I left around 715, CBS was the only keg that i know of that kicked..pretty well run event!

6:30? I wish! I got there just after 5 and it was all gone. It was very well run, never had to wait long to get a drink. I had Grimm's Maple DN, LIC Heaven Beside you, and Hawaiian Speedway. Heaven Beside you was an incredible cinnamon, molasses, etc. adjunct stout. I would compare it to xocoveza, but it totally blew that out of the water. Just a perfect balance of spicy cinnamon, bitter roast, and sweet molasses. The Hawaiian was an interesting speedway variant, enjoyed the coconut flavor but either it is not coffee forward, or that faded with time. In hindsight I would've switched to Viet Speedway. I cant really fairly rate Grimm MDN, I enjoyed it but was thinking of the CBS I missed the entire time.

High gravity stouts tend to distort space-time  Cheers!

I had a couple pours of CBS at opening yesterday. Really happy with it and the whole event at Barcade in general.
