Anyone score an Assassin pour ticket to Safe Saloon that is planning to go Friday evening from Decorah and would let me hitch a ride? Will give gas money.

I'm not totally sure. They haven't posted on Facebook that they're through the list. Maybe they'll make some more calls tomorrow.

For what it's worth, I emailed about 8 minutes after they made the post and didn't get a call until mid afternoon today. They said they got through about half the list yesterday.

Do you know what time was your email or their original post? I never saw it, just my friend send me a screenshot. I spoke with them on FB a couple days earlier, but never heard a follow up :slight_frown: I have a feeling that I missed out on that one too.

    They just posted this:

"Very close to done. All 100 have been contacted. We are waiting for conformation on roughly 12 people who we need to call back because they were unavailable when we called them."

    Don't forget about T-Bock's!

    "Details
We will be tapping our Toppling keg of Assassin at 9 AM sharp.
5 oz. pours for $16, first come first serve, we will also have a few other TG beers on tap along with Pulpit Rock & other local brews.

No growlers - obviously - and when it's gone it's gone!

We open at 7 AM for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

It's going to be quite the party [IMG] see you there!"

I'm thinking T-Bock's will have a line of people waiting since 7am for pours and my wife's TG pick up is at 8am, so I won't get there early enough :/ Thanks for all the info though!

It would be kind of nice if the people who were lucky enough to get Assassin bottles would let us unlucky folks have better chances of getting pours.

This may have already been covered but is TG pouring any after 4:30? I know that place will be a shit show but just wondering.

That's what they've said on Facebook (and when I stopped in last). I got the impression that they weren't pouring during bottle pick up, but I could be wrong.

I was planning on trying to head up to the taproom to at least observe the chaos and drink whatever else is on tap that night.

No outside bottles allowed at the taproom anymore per Twitter.

I emailed them about 10 minutes after the post on Facebook and didnt get a call. The rate at which these pours are selling out is nuts

That's probably just for release days, which makes sense given what a shit show the place can turn into.

Clark himself routinely participates in bottle shares at the tap room. Seems to be having a blast when he does. I'd be surprised if they were outlawing outside bottles altogether.

Yeah I know the Chainsmoker release was pretty insane for how many bottles were left behind. It's cool to have the kill shot pic, but it would be nice if some of these people picked up after the event is done.

anyone have a bottle share going for Thursday, 1/12? forgot if it was mentioned already. I will be at the Country Inn on Thursday and plan on opening some bottles for all who want to drink. No perquisites, just chill and drink after a long 6-hour drive.
