Just tried the nofilters at a bottle share. Solid beer. The "wow this is really good, especially for hooker" comments I've seen crack me up. Despite how people deify these kinds of IPAs it's not exactly rocket science to make them. Hooker makes some really good beers too, not to mention lots of good brewers who work in breweries all over the state. It shouldn't be surprising to see a solid beer out of them.

Thanks for the heads-up! Grabbed one this AM. They have BCBBW on the shelf too, if anyone is looking.

Goddamn, this March Tilquin is good. I'm thinking better than recent 3F. Grabbing whatever remains on Monday!

16' tilquin gueuze is fantastic. IMO its the best vintage yet and drinks amazing fresh. Blows away 3F OG and cantillon bio, again IMO. I have been buying as many as I can get my hands on. Tilquin flew off the shelves alot faster this year, and it will probably get harder and harder to get in the future.

Picked up a 6 pack yesterday and will say they nailed the "new england ipa" style. Very Trillium-esque. I believe only Hartford county has seen distro so far but if you find it it's definitely worth a try.

Drinking a no filter now. It's good

At first I thought that the hash tag was the douchey part. Then I noticed that they actually wrote "new England ipa" on the can. I thought that pioneer were the only ones douchey enough to do that.

Hookers new IPA #nofilter is a nice addition to the ct beer scene. I think the nose on it is excellent, very juicy. A tad thin but I think with the tweaking it can be fixed, worth snagging at the package store if you can't find it or next time it's released at the brewery.

Sorry didn't see the second part of the question, when I stopped over for the release there wasn't a huge crowd, maybe 20-25 people inside. I expect the next time it drops there will be a crowd/line especially if it's another case limit
