Fire marshalls called and sticked around. < 20 patrons in here and a huge line of people waiting outside an empty brewery. Kind of a shame. How is the limit only 28people?

Pre orders should have been pre made instead of doing ad hoc. Should have held extra bottles for tomorrow.

Priority should have been given to those that paid instead of the Johnny come latelys that resulted from the news of additional bottles.

I realize they were short on time but it was first release. They are open to constructive criticism and hopefully work out the kinks.

Fwiw, i doubt many people double dipped.

is it worth heading over there for the extra bottles at this point?

Long gone, that line was depleted probably an hour before i got my bottles. Those people got priority service over people who prepaid $140 for 12 beers, for some reason, while we basically stood in the cold in a non moving line while they sold all the "extras."

I can't imagine there is anything left at this point, it was only 100 or so of each and with 3 per person only ~40 people are getting anything.

I don't think a brewery could have fucked up a release any worse. Waited forever for the preorders where it should have been in and out. Not worth the hype or the wait

So to make matters worse I just opened up a bottle of MoK and it doesn't taste right. Too sweet and malty, and nothing like the juice bomb I'm used to. This is very bad.

I opted to pick up my bottles tomorrow, how much of a shit show was it today? MoK taste is off?

Looking at untapped it sounds like it isn't off, only unfavorable review is from starrdogg (above).

Bud of mine sent me a pic of the line and his tickets. He got two tickets for Small Town and two tickets for Cocoa. I said congrats, he said they took the Cocoa tickets back and they oversold so he waited for over 2 hours for 2 beers. I didn't even think they had extra Cocoa bottles? If you are a hyped brewery right now you have to look at every decision you make from a worst case scenario at this point because from my experience that's what it's been.

I assume his tickets were from the presale, or were they giving tickets for the 'extra' bottles?

I got there at 8 today to pick up my bottles and was out in minutes. There were not many people inside having pours, but a dozen outside waiting in line. Their going to need a larger spot very soon as 20 patrons at a time just isn't going to cut it.

Pickup line 10 deep right now. About a dozen people outside waiting for pours as well

They are really only allowing 20 people at a time inside for pours? That's crazy..

They miscalculated for the people standing in line for the extra bottles they made overnight. To make matters worse the douche at the door kept telling people that preordered that we didn't have to be there and we had the most flexible pickup schedule. it was terrible

They're only going to be letting 20 people in the taproom moving forward. On the fire Marshall watchlist now

20 people at a time seems rough, that will kill the revenue flow. They may have to do take away for most of the beer they brew. Did they recently change that cause I've been there many times when they tripled that #.
