And, iirc it had a great barrel flavor to it.

Yeah, but regardless of shape or branding, I don't see the need for multiple 30oz glasses.

Absolutely! But you might need a 3,000 mile straw.

Did anyone else find the personalized holidays/new years card to be a unexpectedly nice gesture?

...I did. But then again I'm a sucker for that kind of thing.

    Thanks, Bruery!

I had a bottle of that the other night. It's a complex and tasty beer for sure!

I just got back from Terreux, it was on the regular menu, no can needed. (I had cans anyway)

Anyway, I highly recommend a visit today for any members nearby, RS in particular. The society growler fills extended to literally everything on the tap list*. I'm thrilled for all the excellent beer I get to drink with my family for the next few days. Thank you to all the cool Bruery people working today!

Vindictive continues to get better for me each time I try it, really enjoyed it this time and brought home 32oz to share.

*edit: realized I didn't ask if Elvis BT was eligible for fills but I wouldn't be shocked if it was

Not sure if this was mentioned or not, but just tasted a White Mocha tonight and pretty sure it's infected badly. Huge vegetal green peppers on the nose; unpleasant zesty bitterness in the taste. DP-ed. It's unfortunate, especially because the cocoa notes smelled real nice.

I hope it is a limited problem. Just sent a White Mocha as an extra in a trade.

I haven't noticed an issue with any of my bottles. I think I have 1 left, might have to bring it today for the festivities for science.

I opened one with a friend a month ago but we were a few deep at that point. I kept going back to it smelling it and tasting and commenting that I thought something had gone very wrong with it. Since at the time no one else had reported anything I figured it was an anomaly, but now that you're mentioning it I am 100% certain it was off.

I've found all of the beers done with coffee from the Bruery get that green pepper taste after time. Melange #8 was the worst offender, but Mash & Grind and Mocha Wednesday have done it too. Not enough to put me off the beers, I just know to drink them within a year. I'm curious if it's the coffee or their yeast that isn't playing well. Other coffee beers I've had just fade or turn chalky.

An example of the green pepper taste would be Alesmith JBM speedway. Super great fresh, but it was after about a year or so it developed the pepper flavor. It is just the coffee not able to hold up. It was a sad day when I found that out and had to quickly drink the rest since that was my favorite non-BA variant. Ah well.
