Anywhere in Connecticut or Massachusetts to get SOS or any other Lawson's on a regular basis?

Is anyone else getting sick of the hype surrounding Lawsons? We have excellent DIPAs from Foley and Frost languishing on shelves because everyone thinks Lawsons is the standard (they aren't).

I buy Frost and Foley Bros every time I head up to our place in VT. I gave up looking for anything from Lawsons except SoS. I prefer Prospect or Pieces of Eight to SoS, and consider Fair Maiden about its equal.

I'll change my tune once the new Lawsons facility opens. Just never in the right place, right time to get Double Sunshine, etc.

Yes, our place is in Rochester VT, so an easy run to Warren or Mad River (and to Foley in Brandon), but I'm only there on long weekends really, so never for the Lawson's delivery at the Warren Store. The new delivery should change that situation.

I have been very disappointed with my last several draft pours of sip and really do not get why it's so highly sought after at this point. I do think the bottled one-offs are still pretty damn good and are for the most part worthy of the hype.

Lawson’s Finest is very excited to see what 2017 brings! We’re so grateful that you’re with us on our adventure! Most exciting is the potential purchase of land and buildings that will become our new public brewery and taproom! We still have a ways to go before our anticipated grand opening in 2018, but we’re happy to report that progress is being made. Check out the full original news story here!

Due to a break in brewing over the holidays, there will be no specialty bottle releases the week of Jan. 2nd.

Beginning Jan 12th, we will have our first special beer of the new year, The Space In Between. From our label, “An ale without definition, blurry and green, with a depth and form unclear, this beer resides in the space in between”. Let your imagination do the rest. Expect this beer to return throughout 2017, each time with a different interpretation.

On Jan 13th, join Sean at Mad River Glen ski area for a Naturalist Full Moon snowshoe & brew! Advanced tickets are required and can be purchased here. It’s your opportunity to experience Sean revel about his love of both nature and beer!

Starting Jan 26th, fan favorite (and award winner!) Triple Play IPA returns in bottles and draft.

Specialty bottles of Triple Play IPA and The Space In Between can be found at The Warren Store, Beverage Warehouse, and Craft Beer Cellar Waterbury.

Get your hands on fresh batches of Sip of Sunshine IPA and Super Session #2 in Vermont and Connecticut all month long!

January brings another exciting chapter in collaboration projects with our friends at Mad River Distillers! Sean will be brewing up another double batch of wash (or wort in the brew house) for the next round of Hopscotch. A Vermont single malt whiskey, it is aged for over a year in charred American oak barrels before seeing the light of day. Our first Hopscotch release in November 2016 was wildly successful and didn’t last long, so our patient fans will have to wait until 2018 for the next batch.

Sean was recently interviewed by Welcome to Connecticut (W2CT). W2CT states, “Sean Lawson is one of the most well respected brewers in the industry. Some of his creations, such as Sip of Sunshine, are so highly sought after that people will go to great lengths to get their hands on them. Sean sits down with Ken to discuss his history in the beer community, his transition to contract brewing and making his beers available in other states. He also very candidly talks about the issues of price gouging that have run rampant with some of his beers.” Check out the audio recording here! The actual interview begins at minute 11 in the recording.

We’re honored that Double Sunshine IPA was named one of the top 22 beers making the final round of judging in this past fall’s Alpha King challenge at the GABF, representing the best of lupin laden ales in the country.

In February, fans can look ahead for upcoming batches of Coffee Fayston Maple Imperial Stout and Hopcelot IPA.

Is that an email blast you can sign up for or just on their website? I'm gonna be up there later in the year and when it gets closer will start to follow them a bit more.
