No idea... Whereabouts are you? I could grab you a few and do a quick IP trade?

I tried that once, but i was told that there could be a 4-6 week delay. I'd rather drive further than wait for an aged IPA

They're lying. I've had IST's arrive in two days after the request is made. Typically 3-5 days, and those are transfers from Toronto to Thunder Bay. As long as you have a contact from the store that's arranging the transfer, they can ensure it goes out within a day or two.

NickleBrook announced their new Bolshevik can format (473) about a month ago. I asked them what the price hike would be, they told me $3.10 a can. Now reading they'll be $4.50 a can. Quite the jump from the sub $10.00 a four pack from last year.

Not liking this huge price hike, most likely won't be picking it up this year. Real shame.

Oskar Blues G'Knight now in stock at Orleans. Showing a date of Sept 22 for canning, which is about what I expected. Just cracked one...seems a little maltier than I remember (due in part to LCBO warm storage perhaps?).

Never had it, but from a quick glance at the reviews sounds like it's a maltier ipa to begin with? With so much releasing (and already out) on both sides of the bridge, the G'Knight is one I might pass on. Keep extra $ for Ten Fidy and Old Rasputin :grinning:

Anyone grabbed Old Kentucky Bastard from the brewery this weekend? 14.5% this year? Waiting to hear from people who've had it before dishing out for a couple of bottles.

anyone know how they got away with this?

Surprised you missed the one on one on BT. Rep of the brewer in the appropriate forum which is probably your best source.MG is probably the best to answer your question.

Can you please let us know what you find with regards to this.
I saw the rep in my area and he said 'you are the second person today to ask me that'

The G'Knight is supposed to taste that way, I definitely think Laguinitas Sucks outclasses it in every way. I bought a pack of each, and Sucks seemed to have a better structure overall.

Nice to see that the new Volo is on the front cover of the new Beeradvocate magazine.

not really going to look into it. it's an archaic law and the AGCO is silly to threaten Ontario breweries for "excessive" abv when they sell Sammiclaus at the LCBO.

I'm a fan of these breweries pushing the limits and flying under the radar!

Yeah, I am aware of malt profile. I have had G'Knight many times. I am saying this tastes maltier than usual to me.

Was it made at the new brewery by chance or still Longmont?
