very happy with Reply Hazy, Try Again. Delicious. I agree this might just surpass B1 Galaxy Bowl.

 

I tend to agree with the above. Reply Hazy is considerably better than Mellotron and I personally think it's better than either batch of Galaxy Bowl. I almost considered not getting this after Mellotron and GB2 (too much beer at this point), but I'm glad I decided to.

Between this and Special Sauce #9, I have to say there is something special about Motueka hops in this style of IPA, but that might just be me.

 

You guys are jerks...I was really trying to pass on Reply Hazy, but now I may need to grab some tomorrow.

you will both be happy. on my second can, its really on-point.

 

Don't bother. Same all yeasty all chalky from hop butcher. Nothing interesting. Melletron was their best beer this year imo

 

So now I shouldn't get it. But what if someone else posts again that I should get it? If everyone can't get a consensus for me, then I have to say you guys are jerks again.

But has anybody had the recent Stratus. Hailstorm is clearly tinkering with their beers and this batch is their best yet.

Thinking about making the trip to the city to pick up Reply Hazy. Can anyone confirm if there was any left at Capones or Beer Temple before close last night?

None at Capones last night. Was told it lasted a couple of hours. Guy at the counter knew what I was looking for before I even finished my question.

 

Beer Temple ran out last night around 6pm. Your best bet would be to try some Binnys locations. Not sure if Bottles and Cans got it but worth a phone call. Cheers!

As in Scratch Brewing? West Lakeview had three of their bottles last time I was there on Wedneday.

 

<-Still waiting for some more sub 7% local NE IPAs. Son of Juice is solid and has become my defacto one. It seems to be readily available now and is the only IPA the GF seems to like. I hope they put this puppy into cans like they did Charlatan (which by the way seems to have been dialed in when I had it recently in a 4 pack, maybe it was just ultra fresh).

 

if you liked the recent hop butcher releases id say get it. if you are on the fence then id say skip it you wont be missing anything.
