I enjoyed the last batch of it. I really wish they delivered to the East Bay.

Regarding the Track 7 Colab "6 PACK". Ryan G from T7 said it should come in at about $25 for the 6 pack. He said it was expensive to make with the DIPA, Sour and Stout.

I figured that this would be closer to $30 for the 6 pack.

We'll see on Saturday. Should be a good crowd at both Curtis Park and Natomas.

I feel like this went under the radar. Berryessa got their canning line.

Good Morning SBG, I wanted to take the opportunity to provide some extra info for our 5th Anniversary Celebration tomorrow particularly with the 5th Anniversary Collab 6pks.

For those that aren't aware, we brewed six collaboration beers with six amazing breweries. Info on the beers brewed can be found in the first post of this thread. All of the beers are now in cans and the team is assembling the mixed six-packs today.

Originally, we had hoped to brew a minimum of 14bbls for each of the collabs. However due to our other production obligations, we were only able to brew one 7bbl batch of the Alvarado Street Naughty by Nectar Kettle Sour ft. Mandarin and Apricot. This wound up requiring that we reduce the number of cases of the collaboration beers that we were ultimately able to package.

So with that bit of background, here is what we have for the details for tomorrow:
-- We were able to package 125 cases total for sale through our tasting rooms. Collab six-packs will be split with 75 cases at Curtis Park location and 50 cases at Natomas location.
-- Collab six-packs are going to be priced at $25 per six pack, plus tax and CRV.
-- Maximum number of Collab six-packs available for purchase by any one individual is 4 six-packs (1 case).
-- Both breweries open at noon.

We are very proud of these collaborations beers, think that they are all exceptional and cannot wait to share them with you. Cheers to 5 Years Sacramento!

Well that is a bummer. I'm heading to the Curtis Park location, now just have to wonder how early do I have to get there in order to get a six pack.

Yeah, not sure if I am going to make the early line. People on the SacBeerEth facebook already talking about the line, allocations and how it could be a bloodbath....lol....

I might just stop by later Saturday afternoon for a flight or something since they will all be on draft.

My NYE backup plan is to get a growler fill up and a few can crowlers today at Fieldwork.

Absolutely hate the 4 four pack limit for as little as there is. Was hoping it would be 2 max.

Then why not just limit it to one 6 pack per person?

Welp, probably gonna roll up after the cans are gone and the crowd has dwindled to get some pours.

    @thewaterispoison

Track 7 just did a new update.

They just changed the can max to TWO 6 packs per person. Should allow more people to get it.

JJ was actually the first one to make the suggestion.

    *** Update ***
Hey all, we have heard the reaction about the 4, 6pk (1cs) maximum we planned to make available to an individual customer. We still come from a very humble understanding of who we are and to us 125cs is a lot of beer and we still scratch our head that we would draw such a demand to warrant any kind of line for our beers.

But, we also want to do our best to get our product into as many hands as want it, while making their efforts worthwhile. So to better facilitate, we are going to lower to purchase maximum to 2, 6pks per individual. Thank you SBG and we look forward to seeing you out at the breweries tomorrow. Cheers!

Well the Track 7 can release was pretty rough on Saturday morning. Long lines (100+) and they ran of out of cans after the 1st hour. Only 2 point of sale terminals with no specific can line really slowed things down.

Growing pains for a small brewery. I am sure they will learn from this one for next year.

I ended up going back on Sunday afternoon. No lines and no people. I was able to try 5 of the 6 new beers and get growler fills.

The T7/Fieldwork Colab "Never The Bride" was the best I thought. Double NE IPA.

Did you go to Curtis Park or Natomas? Was really disappointed that Curtis Park didn't allow people just to go in and get pours. You could only get them if you were buying cans. Also heard they ran out of cans at around 1pm.

Edit: when I left, line looked about the same as when I got there. Kinda knew everyone in line wouldn't be getting cans.

Exact same thing at Natomas. Line was super slow. You couldn't just get a pour either. They needed a can line and then a pint/growler line. They were understaffed for the event. We left as well.

Went back on Sunday for the same beer and no lines...

So onto the next Sacramento Area Can release.

Looking forward to this one this weekend at Moonraker. The Hermit (Yojo part duex) and Zulu Haze.

Yeah lines were super slow because most everyone was getting pours. My friends were able to get me pours and cans so I walked in and sat with them in front of the counter. From my observation, it took about 15-20 minutes from the time people got inside the brewery to get to the counter to order.

Never visited Moonraker but I'm thinking of heading up on Saturday. What are the chances the cans will last until then?

All of the Moonraker can releases usually last a few days or even a week. Haven't had any problems yet.

They did lower the max to 3 Four packs for Hermit. That is a small change as they have gotten more popular recently. Yojo and Dojo are still their most crowded releases.

They release on Friday. I don't plan on going until Saturday at noon. Some in Sacramento are not willing to make the drive up to Auburn. I am already almost 30 mins East of Sac, so I am half way there already.

No line at Moonraker from the pics I have seen today. But steady flow of people getting cans.

This may be a suicide mission but I may try to brave the big storm to head to Moonraker from SF tomorrow morning.
