@dar482 bottles of their country beers were priced at 14$. A 750ml fill is 7 bucks.

I loved Suarez. You get a good sized pour of everything for $4, even the country ale. The space is really nice. Suarez's lagers are terrific, especially liked his pilsners (Qualify was my favorite). I'm digging the breweries that make these crisp, lower alcohol beers that don't sacrifice flavor. I will definitely be back. I can't imagine anything better than one of his pilsners as the weather gets warm.

Looked like there were plenty of bottles for those who are concerned.

I went yesterday and also loved the place. I was really impressed by what they can do with all of these low ABV styles. Triangular Nature on tap was Hill Farmstead level good. Definitely will be going up there again.

I'll also echo what Sheppard said. That Qualify Pils was one of the best pilsners I've ever had.

I am on my phone in the car about to head up north (from NYC) on a whim with my wife and daughter. Can anyone recommend any good food spots in a 10-15 mile radius of the brewery? Any other activities we could do? Forgive if this has been asked but I am on my phone and it's a pain to scroll through.

Red Hook has a few good spots. Yesterday we ended up eating at the Elizaville Diner since we got lost and it was the first thing we saw.

For those still wondering, Dan will fill any size, any type, any material growler as far as I know.

128 oz of Crispy Little anyone?

Why would I do that? I've got a 128 growler for a reason.

So excited to see all this year end love for Suarez. Such a delightful place. Understated, yet phenomenal beers. Can't wait to see what the bring in 2017.

Suarez has been on my list of places to go since it opened but the holidays opened up a time to actually go (with friends). I'm really looking forward to what he has going on in the new year. I personally hope that it remains a place that people go to drink his beers. I know that he is getting a lot of hype, especially with that article on that other site, but I do hope that people go there to appreciate his beers, not just for hype or trade reasons. I guess that he's not making the sexiest beer styles, but I do think that people who really appreciate beer would love what he's making.

I'm having a Ms. Frank now. It's very good.

Darwin of Darwin's Beer Reviews has been hyping these guys really hard lately, and I trust his opinion on beer more than just about anyone else's. The type of easy-drinking, low-abv--yet well-made--beers he describes are the types of beers I want most often, and the types of beers the craft beer world most needs, in my honest opinion. No one could (or should) drink a 13% bourbon barrel aged imperial stout every day, but I could easily--and happily--drink a couple of 5% pilsners every day. I plan on visiting them and the nearby Sloop Brewing (who are also fantastic) as soon as I get a nice day this coming spring or summer.

Make sure to hit Daughters Fare & Ale in Red Hook. These guys have killer food. It's about 15 min away from Suarez.

Anybody know what the lineup is this week? They've been posting every week on Facebook like clockwork but not this week. Headed there Saturday and trying to get my game plan ready. Thanks!

Probably the same, unless something kicks. Patiently waiting for the new guy - Long Story Short: oat pale ale w/ crystal, moteuka, centennial.
