Can anyone tell me if they usually sell out same day for the crucial taunt. I have someone that won't be able to make it until after work.

 

Usually not but look at the post above. No release today.

 

With 200+ cases I do not see it coming close to selling out tomorrow. And with them having to push the release off a day and it probably not accommodating a lot of the regulars who plan for Tuesday's I see it lasting until Friday and probably the weekend.

The above is going off the last release of CT which occured Nov 15th. It was a 190 case count and no limit. Cans lasted 3 days (sold out Thursday) and was partnered with a new can at that time (Weekend at Broznies). Prior to that, CT was release on Oct. 4th (205 cases / no limit) and also took 3 days to sell out.

Having all these release posts in this thread really does come in handy =) It's great to be able to be able to gauge the need to hustle over there or not.

 

Some possible good news for anyone bummed about no release today. Veil has mentioned possibly increasing limits tomorrow. I personally think 6x CT and 8x LOL is more than enough but for those wanting to hoard more be on the lookout for final details tomorrow.

 

I'm sitting out this week personally but if this batch of CT is as good as the last one, I'd buy my limit. I wasn't a huge fan of LOL on the first go so wouldn't grab much.

 

Limits at 12/4 Packs of both. Two cases of each is a lot. I get it - I still be these hang around for a couple days.

I'm curious how many people are gonna be asking for the hand truck for their massive 4 case haul?

 

Starting at 4pm, we will begin selling the following brands in fresh 16oz/4-pack cans. Here's what's available:

~Crucial Taunt-8%-our house DIPA(approx 208 cases; $15+tax/4-pack; 12x 4-packs per person)

~LOL Tho-8.5%-DIPA w/100% Amarillo(approx 190 cases; $16+tax/4-pack; 12x 4-packs per person)

How are these batches of CT and LOL?

Debating whether or not to make the drive there tomorrow for cans.

 

Today's (THURSDAY) availability. Only 109 cases sold yesterday. Limits increased to 3 cases per today. They should sell out by the end of the weekend but such a huge impact on sales with the issue and having to delay release by 24 hours. Also goes to show just how many people plan for those routine Tues release days.

We still have about half of the last sixtel in existence of 2016 Circle of Wolves(English barleywine). Get it before it's gone for good!

 

There's that for sure, people definitely don't respond well to the "we had an issue today" deal. It looks like the weakest release since IREALLYdont and they had to pour those other batches - they were just selling cans at the bar at 4:15 that day with a "soft limit". I think a part also has to do with it being CT again and LOL not being a hyped favorite. Plus, coming off of two weeks of big holiday releases. I know I was trying to be good at least for this week - I'm gonna be back on Tuesday though.

 

Lots of cans going into the weekend. No mules needed to help you stay loaded up for winter weather. Limits increased to 5 cases per (might as well say no limit at that point!).

I bet they don't carry over cans to the following Tues if any remain from the previous week. I think a small number of times in the past they have sent some cans out for distro. I would expect that again. With all that snow coming I don't see them selling 90+ cases of each this weekend either.

 

Is there a lot of snow coming? Every place I've looked at the forecast for (including Richmond) it looks like there is just a slight chance of flurries.

Edit: nevermind, I guess the forecast for Richmond changed. Looks like 1-3 inches now.

 

RVA stations have been changing their forecast the past couple days. It was like 1-3" yesterday and then moved to 3-6" this morning. The last map I saw (from a more reliable source) a couple hours ago is now showing it to be between 6-8" in the band from around Goochland down to a little south of Petersburg

 

The Virginia beach/HR/W-burg area is getting anywhere from 6-10+ inches apparently, so I doubt anyone comes up this weekend from our area for cans.
