Yeah, we are definitely going to be able to buy up to 4 other bottles of something when we pick up our allotment.

The vibe I got from the tweets was no selling to non-lottery winners. Willing to be wrong though.

 

Anyone know if Pulpit Rock will fill growlers/howlers from other breweries?

"Due to the large volume of beer and people, we will not be able to serve beer on site on January 13, 2017 until 4:30 p.m. However, keep an eye out on social media for our beers which will be featured at a number of local businesses in town until we open to the public at 4:30 p.m."

The thing about the four additional bottles of beer was on the lottery signup page, I think. Didn't mention what they'd be, though if MD Days are any indication, it'll be middle-tier stuff like King Sue.

Not sure how many people are in each group. I personally would take being 30 mins early and first 10 people through so I can get to other festivities, over being there 15-20 mins after start time and having to wait a hr+ before I get through the line, not saying it'll be like that no expereince with their previous releases. Most long beer lines usually can take a while.

 

One thing that I do want to know is how much the 4 additional bottles will cost. Trying to figure out how much cash is needed if I want everything and don't want to be short 5 bucks for something cool.

 

If it's only hops, $45 should cover it. If you believe they've got 1000 bottles of MD or Chainsmoker waiting for the KBBS and 2xAssassin lottery winners, then plan $50 per (based off unnanounced release pricing).

I get what you're insinuating but I don't think they'd necessarily need 1000 bottles of something. I actually can see them only having a few hundred of something and it's just luck of the draw. The vitriol and entitlement would be glorious.
That said, I'm still of the mindset that it will be semi regularly brewed beers, or possibly some DDH variation we haven't seen, and the limit of 4 is just to garuntee availability.

 

I got lucky and got picked. My time is at 1-2:45. I live in the Twin Cities and will be driving down Friday morning most likely. I have room to bring 1-2 more people with myself and a friend if people want to save on renting a car down to Iowa if you happen to be flying into MSP. Chip in a little for gas or better yet, bring some yummy treats and I don't mind the company. Message me if you're interested.

 

havent they tweeted that Scorpion will be brewed for this event? If so, I would assume that would be 1 of the 4 bottles but obviously its probably speculation only till that first group goes through and posts something

 

Never saw a tweet that says explicitly for this event, just that it will definitely be brewed this year.

 

'Scorpius Morchella' was aluded to but, like Hawkeye said, not for the event specifically. Kinda, maybe implied it's possible but that describes a lot of TGs tweets.
